In the quiet spaces where my heart resides,
I craft a tale of endurance,  where emotion hides.
A facade of fine, a smile painted on,
Hiding the storms, where shadows are drawn.

Through the echoes of laughter, a silence persists, Enduring the ache, with clenched-fist twists.
I say I'm fine, a whispered refrain,
Yet in the depths, a tempest remains.

In the theater of tears, I play my part,
A master of pretending, a work of art.
The world sees strength, a resilient sheen,
But beneath the surface, a different scene.

I endure the weight, the burdens I bear,
A stoic facade, a delicate affair.
Yet, in this masquerade, emotions entwine,
For sometimes, saying "I'm fine" is a valiant design.

So let the verses of endurance unfold,
In the silent poetry of stories untold.
I wear a mask, a masterpiece divine,
Enduring, pretending, yet somehow,
I'm fine.
The poem explores the theme of enduring emotional challenges beneath a seemingly composed exterior.

The uncertainties of tomorrow
turns pain into laughter
Gloom looks and dark circles
turns tears into heartaches
heart plagued by
sacred oaths broken
True wealth is in a lover's tears
but, "Boys don't cry".
This road called life is a lonely one filled with uncertainties and unforeseen circumstances..... enjoy the moment and expect the worst
I love the stars
They remind me that
There’s enough space
for everyone to shine

I love the moon
It teaches me
patience and beauty

I love the sunset
Its fading colors
teach me that
every ending promises a new beginning

I love shadows
The way they play on walls
reminds me that even in darkness,
there’s artistry and mystery
to be found

I love chirping crickets,
bonfires, fireflies, darkness…

…I LOVE THE NIGHT!

I can hold on
when you hold me right

I can hold long
when it’s all your might

I can hold strong
when I’m all you hold tight

~
I know your glow
it moves on tracks
of never-ending light

illumine, my dear glimmer

an ornament of love
spiraling along
flightpaths to each other

one maybe a failure in flickers

yet another a successful sparkle
drifted down gently as snow
about the tactile lanterns
of your hands and face

I can never promise

             to never hurt you

but I can vow

             to never leave you

and live my life in such a way

              that you will hurt

to not stay

/Seven start the running
at the shot of a gun
one faulted behind
six continue to run
six kept the running
till another starts to stall
tripping over shoelace
two clambered to a fall
four kept the running
four running strong
come the first hurdle
three running on
three kept the running
till a cramp came along
two kept the running
two going strong
just one look behind
cost one the finish line
one kept the running
past the cheer and cries
one kept the running
only one won the prize

She turns to him and says,
“Did you ask me to marry you because you felt sorry for me?”

He replies,
“I asked you to marry me because I’d be sorry if I didn’t “

Looking through her tears, into her eyes, he pauses

“Do you regret marrying me?”, he asks.

“No,
…I’d have regretted not to have married you”, she whispers.

they stare

they smile

and then kiss in a million ways
