lost in ecstasy
of the present moment
here i am
Jacob Traver May 2015
If dreamed any harder
Vivid light would fade away
Under the ecstasy of color
That would illuminate the day
What is divine, with so much of you, your heart
which i have seen, as your soul touched my soul
that changed the essence of you, as your lips pressed
my life, my hope, that went beyond all limits
so much more, as my tears cry for you, into the bliss
of ecstasy.

With love so simple, without thinking, drawing every
breath, with pure affection, it is easier to love someone
with their flaws, I want to love the whole you,
and not **** through the bad.

To feel you with the breeze on my face, to feel your sense
with your familiar thread pulling my heart, my soul, my life
unraveling me, holding me telling me what I want to hear
knowing this will be the rest of my life.

I want to be loved by the same lips that have always loved me
before the beginning of time, before I was and before you,
with my open soul, and ****** promises to my open body
is where we stand on this uneventful day of ecstasy.

Tickled senses
Close encounter
Risky pursuit
Playful hearts
Seductive looks
Arousing touch
Ignited passions
Frenzied moves
Strong upheavals
Raised anticipation
Souls entangled
Towards culmination
Deep awakenings

My life snuffing out
Her beauty overwhelming
So hard is breathing

True I am not one for declarations or discussing emotions,
if I keep you around then that's enough of a notion
that yes, perhaps I will fall to love you, one day in the
future, not right now is true. I will never willingly
admit to being the fallen, more likely to distance
and cautiously move on then risk the words slipping
from my tongue to yours, as we kiss on dark corners
and leave late night bars. How many times has happiness
skipped me by? Living so opaquely and lying with my
eyes, as you take my lips but never do take my hands, I
could love you, dear J, but I'm too scared to stand.

This image you project is one I cannot pierce, I do not know
if you feel when I am in tears, whilst you do not know that
that yes they have fallen for you, our bodies make such awful love
that our minds are askew, tied to decimations old lovers cast,
for it seems two stones do not make a love that can last.

( Sonnet )*

Poet to my eyes, you are the sight of whitecaps
On the sea water, or the sudden turn of a bird
In flight and as the wave I roll and break,
With drowning wings that lift toward you, my sky.

Mistress to my soul, I am the nave of your holy
Cathedral.  My head is but an occluded riff,
De-noting songs you make in aisling airs of light
Polyphony, my star over-sings the windy globe,

She swallows heaven, like swallows blacken the dusk.
Shearwater bird, strip my surface with your cutting
Wings.  My waves peak to reach you starling girl.

The sloughing chill of winter dies quick in sighs
Waft asunder my little Indian summer, wake me
From sleep and I shall dream but once for your kiss.
aisling ( ash-ling )  |  Gaelic word meaning:  a vision of promise.

Seek solace in solitude
There’s a world of silence
Mirrors the inner beauty
A reflective mind ponders
Enwrapped in the echoes
The mantra of eternal truth
Soul elevated to a stage
Sweet harmony of realization
Hymns of pure ecstasy
Pours through the ears as honey
Sweetening the existence
Shimmering light is kindled
An unusual radiance enthralls
Meanings of life deciphered
Gifted with moments of bliss

Under the primrose stars, the lovers
Lie abed, on green, threadbare croft
Of sleeping daisy, clover and moss,
Trails with hushed air, an embroidery
So fine as to stitch blushing heart fall
And wrap the waters full of stillness
In graces, winding, soft, granulating
Time, wings flutter and hum, winsome
Sparks, fire white, flying as little suns
Burst confetti, in sweet encampment,
Of grass and sapling wood, innocents,
Charmed are wholly twining, in moon
Rise a lantern to the winking heavens,
Out of their skins they are climbing.
