the lost girl Oct 2016
Would you walk with me
To the end of this road
Even if you know it leads
To the end of the hell?
Would you drown with me
In the deepest ocean
Telling me you won't leave,
You don't need to breathe?
Would you spend your youth
Just to live with me forever?
Would u color everything blue
For me ?
.
You called me the dreamer
You called my world surreal
Now I just want to know
Are you a part of my world
Or are you real?

I'm reaching for stars
With my head in the sand
And I'm swimming in currents
While I'm standing on land
If you're hearing this now
And you think I'm confused
Then it's pretty apparent
You've never been used

Tracing lines on the pavement
Of this bustling town
And he only sound that I hear
Is my soul screaming out
Now I'm stuck here in a place
Where no one else cares
So I'm launching my rocket
And blowing up in mid-air

You say you're a dreamer
At least that's what I heard
From the haze in your eyes
That's as good as your word
Please wake up, my dear
Don't be playing with knives
If you call yourself a dreamer
You'll be sleeping all your life
"It's funny how the words we never say
Can turn into the only thoughts we know"

Her stale lips were ripped of faith
Her tears were just mere stains
Left in the drought of her ashy skin
The life in her eyes was escaping with every drop of water
The water was as hot as fire
Like the dreams she wishes she dreamt
But those Were her nightmares in daylight
If it wasn't for her soft reflection
She'd be floating
Her thoughts cloud the world
As she pulls the grip of her dreams
Away from the sleepiness in the air
She was an insomniac
Who could only dream
Messed up

My eyes glitter as you speak,
when you tell me your stories and dreams.
I can only feel you, with your eager voice,
everything around the universe shrinks.

Your world is so profound,
where you aspire what your heart only desires.
You are so precious, I'm in pain,
for your presence is pure I cannot contain.

If only I can embrace your existence
and let not anyone invade your space.
I will shield you away from heartaches,
and you will always be safe.

Look at this vibrant child,
playing under a tree.
Giving vibes of his future,
that he can bring home victory.

A smile of happiness displays,
on his face so young and free.
This is his time of innocence,
long before he flees.

This phase of life always gives me
the chills of familiarity.
Because all adults were once like him,
just a child full of dreams,
spotless of uncertainty.
Her body was youthful
And her mind was wild,
But she was not free
The world did not share her
Vision
For there was
An air of mistrust
Too stagnant for her eyes
She could only dream

She would always dress in red
Sleeping next to a cherry tree
With its wavering
Cherries
Just enough
But barely for survival
And she knew
Scrapping cherries until her last breath
Won't satisfy

From the cherry's vantage point
She took a glimpse of all her universe
She realized her world was no breath of satisfaction
Her eyelids, her only saving grace

In a fantastic land
A magical gem appeared upon her behind peridot clouds
"Fly to me and be my guide
I will show you passion
I will dress you in diamonds of red"

All these years,
Her heart was jaded with despair and confusion
But now post her dream,
A radiance of hope had followed
Amazed by the beauty of her dreams
Infused with glitters, rainbows and iridescent pearls
Her world became clear
She did not desire anything else
But a liberation
Of her heart and her soul
A desire of a cleansing, a pure resurrection
The magical gem in her dreams became
Her hope for air

When you look at yourself in the mirror and you notice something.
Your not the same person  you used to be.
Yeah you look more mature but your smile don't show.
Your eyes don't shine as your mom says.
You don't laugh like you used to.
You think your loved ones are crazy but one day it hits you.
Your not the same.
You don't smile the same.
Your eyes don't shine like they used to be.
Maybe this is growing up?
Or maybe your just walking through the rough path to lead to the next open door.
This world has a lot of twist and turns to meeting people and burning bridges.
From finding yourself to finding what your worth. It's an endless battle with yourself your mind or anxiety and your worst fears coming alive.
Maybe it's all a test.
A lesson by the sky above.
As I clean my face off from the drool from last night.
I notice myself.
And notice how much I've changed.
Maybe it's time to grow up and swallow that dreadful pill.
Dreams come true.
But effort motivates.
And passion makes the heart worth beating.
And the eyes the clear hazel eyes will finally one day shine again.
Till then.
Let the rain come down and let the piano Play.

Crossing over the old fears.
Scared to turn my head
to the shadows of myself.

Chasing created lies.
Letting myself in pain...
rolling over the same worries,
for a smile from the loved ones.

Struggling with my own thoughts
Observing the truth...but still
following the creation of  fear.
Too far from the courage.

Who am I?
A loner..surrounded with crowds?
A coroner... without a clue?
A Bird...without a wings?
Or a believer without a faith?

....

I'm a dreamer,
awaken from a deep sleep of illusion.
Absorber of the energy,
living the pain and sorrow
For the goal of open eyes
and rising beauty of soul...
For freedom
for letting it go...

I'm a dreamer,
Who enjoys the smell of a flower
The sound of nature notes.
Who talks to the moon and sun
and sings a silent song.

I'm a dreamer stranger,
Craziness is my guide,
And rising is my goal.

Rising like in this song
from pain and fear of closed minds
to the valley of the FREE DREAMERS.

Is the dreamer
Who keeps going back
To a time before
His brightest dreams
Became
His darkest nightmares
