After my so-called Prince Charming kissed me to life
My story ended, and no one thought twice
My life was what every girl envied
But nobody saw us behind closed doors
I was the princess and he was the prince, doesn't that sound nice?
Too bad there's no such thing as a happy ending, unless you pay the price.

If I wrote you a love poem
would you clam up in choking modesty,
embarrassed by the still raw love that's been cooking but is yet to be served.

If I wrote you a poem of friendship,
would you retreat back into solidarity,
annoyed at the bluntness of my open soul.

If I wrote you a poem of mourning,
would you fill with resentment
at my supposed plea for pity

If I wrote you a poem of joy
would you counteract the skip in my step with a lag in yours
because enthusiasm is corny in large amounts

And if I wrote you a poem of desire
Would you avert all eyes back to the screen
because Romeo and Juliet is a bit outdated
and imagination has fled from the heart and away from its sensory outlets

Or…

If I wrote you a love poem
Would you beam with a smile that radiates from your eyes and cheeks and shoulders and knees
Because you need all the passerby to know of our love, wordlessly..shamelessly..

If I wrote you a poem of friendship
would you deliver me my favorite coffee,
pick me up to go on a road trip to anywhere

If I wrote you a poem of mourning,
would you hold me and give me the smiles and hugs
that I am temporarily and humanly void of..

If I wrote you a poem of joy,
Would you let my spirit set fire to yours
So we can dance around like idiots aimlessly

And if I wrote you a poem of desire,
would your body tingle and feel like its never felt before,
unsatisfied until our legs and tongues and hearts are entwined

Or am I too Disney?

"Mirror, mirror, on the wall,
who is fairest of them all?"

"Human, human, standing there,
please define for me your word 'fair'?"

"Mirror, mirror, in front of me,
to be fair is to have beauty."

"Human, human, in front of me,
please describe the word 'beauty'?"

"Mirror, mirror, listen here,
beauty is looks that catch your eye,
that please the mind,
catch you by surprise."

"Human, human, you are wrong.
That is just your opinion,
your argument isn't strong."

"Mirror, mirror, be silent please,
I asked you to answer but one thing."

"Human, human, I'm sorry,
but your beauty is relative to only you,
it is not something that I can choose."

"Mirror, mirror, you lie to me now.
Surely there's someone to tell me about."

"Human, human, yes,
indeed you are human.
Find someone yourself,
I'm afraid I can't help.
To me you are beauty,
for I am otherwise alone,
but surely I am ugly,
with all that you know."

"Mirror, oh, mirror, on the wall,
it just might be there is no fairest at all."

Beauty and the beast
Their situation a bit thorny
Please, wait! don't go!
I promise this wont be corny!

This fairy tale is quite disturbing
The plot, quickly, you are learning
About a girl oh-so deserving
And a Beast quite unnerving

Bell, which translates to "beauty"
Had quite the unlucky dad
For he promised her a rose
But came back with empty hand

Now, during his return
He stumbles upon a castle
Where hospitality awaited him
So, who was he to hassle?

While unbuckling his belt
And unbuttoning his clothes
He noticed something beautiful
Something called a rose

The most beautiful one he wanted to pluck
But, instead, he should have ducked
Because the Beast, he had much better luck
And Bells father was forced to give her up

Bell willingly lived with the beast
Where every night there was a feast
There was no passion, to say the least
But their friendship would never cease

Bell eventually became homesick
But the beast had his ways
He said she could see her family
But had to return in 7 days

Before sending Bell on her way
The beast gave her 2 things
One an enchanted mirror
The other an enchanted ring

Use this mirror to see me
Whenever you want to be near
But turn this ring three times
And instantly you'll be here

Jealous of her well being
Bells sisters lead her astray
Wanting the Beast to grow angry
They beg of her to stay

After feeling so much guilt
Bell looks into the mirror
Not only to find the Beast half dead
She uses the ring to see it clearer

The Beast is lying on the ground
His breath is weak, he makes no sound
Belle can't believe what she had found
She Screamed "I love you Beast, I love you now!"

The tears struck the beast
And he transformed into a prince!
He tells her about the fairy
Who turned him into this

I've found my true love
The curse was finally broken from me
My dearest Bell, Darling
Your love has awoken me you see

I used to be angry
So my fate was then sealed
But with your love and your faith
Our true beauty was revealed

You see this story has a moral
In order to live Happily ever after
You must look beyond the growl
And begin to cherish the laughter

According to science
by the time I hit flames
my velocity
will crack the floor

But there’s no room for science here

My family waves
(and by now I’m in flames)
blank goodbyes of I told you so
Dogs with rabies
aborted babies
and all those Disney Villains

The Fat **** who kills his own meat and is sleeping with your mother
never knew you
For you

'Frozen' is a perfect picture,
of the childhood I lived.
To have an older sister,
who will not take or give.

Shut the door in my face
when I wanted to play,
Locked in her room
telling me to go away.

She was not scared of magic,
or ice that could hurt me.
She never opened up,
like Elsa in the movie.

I wish I could help,
go and find her in the snow.
I would go anywhere for her
no matter how old I grow.

I want to build the snowman,
I want to save the day,
But true love can't conquer
when I'm pushed away.

She remains locked up,
with a spirit so mean
She will always remain

i cry during Bambi
you cried in your car after your high school girlfriend tried to come on to you

you and i--
we wouldn't, but--
tonight
or tomorrow
or the next day
we could give ourselves away

we could shoot white deer together in the mountains without a license
the blood from their heads would make cherry snow cones in the powder
and we would have fun savoring the flavor
watching something innocent die

but how would we feel the moment it was over?

Baby we're broken and baby we're done.
We've had our good times and boy they were fun.
But now we must go on our separate ways
We both know, no love is left if one of us stays
So baby live your life and live it with a smile
Lets stop being fake and living in denial
We both made this choice and we both got to agree
That we both would stay friends and live happily
I'm not your Cinderella at least not anymore
You're not my Prince Charming who found a shoe on the floor
Baby this isn't Disney, life isn't like the cartoons
So lets not treat each other like mindless buffoons
Thank you for the effort and baby thank you for the time
Hugs, kisses and farewell this will be my last rhyme.

As I lie on pastures
Along the grimes of these woods
Breathing in the morning dew
I feel awakened and anew
Past sins washed away like the streaming river
Wondering if I've live till forever.

But then I look up to you.
Your face looks shiny and
new. The angels are gathered
around you with their harps
and violins. Singing that I’m free
of my past sins. I think this is
the beginning of something
beautiful and not the end. Hand
me my pallet and set the canvas
up for I will paint a portrait of us.
While the winds ruffle through the
curls of your hair and the leaves of
the big old oak tree. I try to speak
up words of love but it almost seems
that the morning dew has set a flood
from within. Come over dear and rest
your bones with me while I draw this
portrait using my blood and tears. Oh
darling won’t you rest your bones over
here next to me under this big old oak tree
.

Your beauty akin to the moon
Forever gleaming in her prowess
Shadows mortify at the thought of you
Your light begets hope thrusting miracles
I've been praying all my life
Stay with me my dear
As these woods as our witnesses
We vow to be forever rooted from the veins to our beating hearts.
Now come closer dear and dance
with the ventricles of my heart*
