I've paid the price, I've sacrificed
Everything to know I'm fighting for the wrong side
You ignited a spark with your deceitful tricks
And I'm left alone with a flaming phoenix
I thought she was hunting me, I'd seen the signs
The glass breaking, and the crowd didn't see
I've been on the wrong side of the lines
Those warnings were coming from me
I feel betrayed, but I stayed, I felt pity for you
Didn't mean to make this start, oh, what could I do?
Pure cranes that once flew in my dreams
Their wings are blooded from you
I have not spent months of recovering
To be treated this way
No more children I'll be mothering
No longer will I stay
I'm disappointed in all people
For you being so deceitful
For all your misleading lies
And I still have to look into your eyes
I'm just surprised that you could be
So confident in the ability to mislead me
The little spark you've created
It has now turned into a flaming lion
If your lies, you'll continue to tell
It'll burn your soul down, and truth as well.

i looked over at my parents
all their gaze on that laptop
listening to that stupid course
while i eavesdrop

the course is about
how to handle teenagers
and all i could do was
do what teenagers
do- ignore.

i tried my best to not laugh-
i mean after all-
they made the effort to try
but i don't recall
them treating me the way
the talk taught them to-

and all i can do is just
cope with all the
disappointment
without saying huh

because i'm confused-
i'm trying my best
but i'll never be enough for you :)

My heart throbbed with Love's expectations
As he pressed his lips to my ear;
Passion's voice eagerly whispered
Forbidden words I longed to hear

Each kiss evoked thrills beyond measure ---
How they left me gasping for air;
But, O, when his face rested on mine
And his fingers tangled my hair!

So warm was his breath and his sighing,
Like the embers of passion's fire;
Then a gentle stroke of his hand
Ignited the flames of desire

I smiled as he struggled to tell me
What his eyes so clearly revealed;
But no words had to be spoken --
The fate of our love had been sealed

So close was the blissful surrender,
I could feel the beats of his heart;
So close to ecstasy  . . .  and then,
Suddenly, it all fell apart!

The warbling of a bird awoke me,
Then my eyes caught the sun's first beam;
So close had I come to Heaven . . .
But it was no more than a  dream

do you only ever see people in color
when they are gone?

when they have taken all their tints and tones,
leaving you empty,
black and white?

do i have to leave
for you to see me
in all of mine?
You seeing through your dream,
One so bright and full of beauty,
For my river it was the stream
And to protect it was my duty

I wish to go to the moon together
And make that night last forever
Sorry, It seems I must stay behind
And make sure you won’t wither

Your words, sharper than any blade
A leader, with its crown at stake
In any battle, I’ll come to your aid
And into nothingness, i will fade

But you will wear your shiny crown
And pass judgement on this clown
You will forget all this blood stains
And I shall regret that I have stayed

As the memory of you fades away
Like every candle that’s left ablaze
It shined bright, but still died out
At the end, you were just a stray

Day has come, your temple has fallen
Do you really see how far it has gotten?
Did your soul die or was it just rotten?
Would you like to play a while longer?
