Been living beside the river
All alone and still
With no one to talk to
No one to share with

Your body is cover of ***** mud
You disgusted yourself because of how ugly you were

Then someone picks you up
And put you to the group of clean stones
The look on their faces was unexplainable
Yet you know for sure;
They don't like you
They don't want you
And they feel disgusted the way they looked at you

Tears fall from your dolorous eyes
The rain suddenly poured and joined into your sadness
The raindrops clears the ***** mud on your body
And suddenly you shined brightly

You are not a ***** stone you think you were
You are not ugly people think you were
You are not disgusting
You are not what others think you are

You are precious
You're like a star that shines brightly;
and twinkles beautifully
You are everyone adores and treasures
You are a diamond

A diamond, my love
sometimes we have these insecurities to other people, we feel down and frustrated. But if you love who you are, you will know how beautiful you truly are. you will become a diamond, a diamond that adores and treasures by everyone.

I'm gonna take a wild guess
I'm gonna play you a blind chess
I'm gonna tell you how to deem
I'm gonna build you in my dream
You're an angel in a white gown
You're the diamond in my crown
You're the light glowing wide
You're the prayer I always hide
Now I'm awake and cannot see
Now I'm crying inside your sea
Now I'm handing you my last plea
Now I'm giving you all of me

Diamond crown, diamond rings
Diamond gown, diamond things

Appearance is glittering
On the inside, rotting
Don't be fooled.

A ring of natural perfume is adorned on you neck
like the sweet dew of April mornings.

Chains of daisies and dandelions,
which hold a thousand wishes each,
connects like bonds created by
you and me.

Let my hair fall
and inhale comforting bliss
while exhaling bothersome regrets.

Watch the sun kiss the earth goodnight
as it lets the sky open
to glittering stars.

None are capable of outshining the twinkle in your eye
or the shine of those soft lips.

None can compare to you,
an April diamond,
flawless and perfect to many

Smooth edges and clear soul,
a birthstone destines to resonate
within the heart, soul, and mind.
I thought it was a wonderful topic chosen, so I decided to comply and add to the growing community of poems.

The diamonds , they are hard
harder than any stone
They are cut , into their cuts
harsher than any stone
They are sharp ,edges sharper
The one with money and power
wear it as their armour .
The light that fall ,
they shine , they sparkle , they glimmer
and take all the attention over .
They have major female followers
who yearned it to be gifted from their lovers.

I would rather have your heart for just one day
than have a million diamonds and waste away

Shall I compare thee to a summers day?
I think not, for the day's end soon approaches as does Summer's demise.
Shall I compare them to a sparkling diamond?
Again, I think not, for many diamonds are cut apart to gain their beauty.
Shall I compare thee to a crescendo of song, reaching its peak?
Still, I think not, for each and every note may yet still go sour.
While some may profess these things as perfection, you are indeed perfection in my eyes.
     Now and forever.
Not sure how I feel with it overall, I mean I like it, but it could be better.
