She used to tell me
of math and poetry
by the length of her arm
and rhythm of her heart
conversing verse and fraction
with form following the function

of communist theories
and greek philosophies.
she beat out aesthetics
with a perfect symmetry.

because no one understands
the relationship between
seafoam and shoreline
the way she does
[swimming in saltwater sorrows]

reimagining time in an hourglass,
she shot up infinities with a glance
and left me moondrunk in the night.

she emits sparks throughout my system
breaking and entering--
my kingdom under siege.

her name was an amalgam of numbers
italic1.6180399. . . .italic
and I loved her by design.
this is an old favorite. it's clunky and rushed but like junk food it's good. for those who have found patterns in love and love of patterns.

Plan A: there is none as such;
though unflinching ego makes
complex calculations, concludes,
reassures it is best laid for sure.

Plan B, hence has no actual relevance
A mountain river, life is, it rushes
the way the cryptic GPS message directs.
If you ask how it works, try to understand
the intricate organic correlations, involving factors
that  even a super computer can't process
but your mind would, somehow easily tell you
in a clear voice, if only you are ready to  listen.

Every best laid plan is merely a wish
the more profound is spoken as a prayer
words addressed to the voice inside, that listens and acts
fulfillment then, is an emotional construct
you need the scent of that flower to inspire life.

Who says the cosmic plan is mysterious?
One who walks the karma path right, even when eyes closed
knows how to reach where one is headed to.
The truth this: one leads oneself, so keep the inner eyes open.

Subtle wishes that bring smile on the face of thy neighbor
are much more meaningful than selfish desires
One is just a cog in the cosmic wheel
On the factory line,

I am a product of society.

Manufactured by design,

Structured by a nation of notoriety.
Crunching sound beneath my feet,
The feeling of oneness with the dust,
From which I was made,
Every step brings me deeper into my past.

I see it now, the gift of life,
Sprouting from the depths of the earth,
From what we deem lifeless,
Life emerges, in all its fullness.

My toes run through the soft soil,
Each grain screams out a testimony of a million years,
Each stone would cry if they could,
Watching our world nearing its doom.

The fault in our world is not out there,
It is in here,
In the hearts of reckless, egoistic men,
The men who could not care less.

Soil, sand and peat,
Rocks, stones and clay,
All interspersed together,
Designed without fault.

The Creator is all-loving,
Designed us the way we are,
With complete freedom,
And maybe that’s where our flaw lies…
I've been roaming around trying to find a home
I've been treading ground for so very long
Reaching into depths and lighting every corner of my soul
I won't be finished until I make it all my home

Fueling up the love and then setting it all on fire
Burning eternally, diminishing desire

All there will be to remember, are the thoughts I believe and render
A kiss can hold all the words that are told and speak them with ease and splendor
The journey does twist and turn sometimes in directions unexplained to the heart and mind
But as we grow old I pray the truth unfolds so then we understand this grand and beautiful design
We're trapped if we trap ourselves, and my journey is not to hell
So my worry is gone and I say so long to the evils that trip and fail

I found myself a partner, she's loyal, hopeful and free
We've created ourselves a universe, to leave our mark in destiny
infinite in wonder, our love, will find a home
planting ourselves into blessed soil, fully grown then set in stone we'll transgress then rest in peace

Fueling up the love and then setting it all on fire
Burning eternally, diminishing desire

And when I finally root myself, the spirit will spread it's wings
encircling like a beacon, to all the angels that sing
beckoning their light to gather into sight
Argent with pure protection, their shields so dazzling

Fueling up the love and then setting it all on fire
Burning eternally, diminishing desire

All there will be to remember, are the thoughts I believe and render
A kiss can hold all the words that are told and speak them with ease and splendor
The journey does twist and turn sometimes in directions unexplained to the heart and mind
But as we grow old I pray the truth unfolds so then we understand this grand and beautiful design
We're trapped if we trap ourselves, and my journey is not to hell
So my worry is gone and I say so long to the evils that trip and fail

A dark plague of deception
clouds the mind.
No hope to be found,
no light to be around.
All is lost, ominous it must seem.
Go forth, open your mind
and reap the benefits,
of a limitless dream
Be the designer of your own dream.

I have this favorite cup, a simple one
I love this much that I simply can't
Leave it in one corner of my chest
Considered it the last, the best
But one day I just found it there
Broken in pieces, I've seen my tears
I tried to fix it, I really did
But I wasn't someone who could be that skilled
To make magic of fixing things
Somehow I realized what could it bring
If I would try a new design?
Perhaps I would know if I'll just try...

The masquerade has just begun,
Unconsciousness has prevailed.
Welcome the formation
Of mental objects perceiving
The mind.
For this Is not the first time,
It has become
Alive.

You were the stranger with which I fell in love;
You were the emptiness that became my own fulfillment;
You were the outline that absorbed every colour of the spectrum when you spoke to me;
You were the face of a man whose soul became my greatest fascination;
You were the new unexplored place which became my truest home;
You were the one I never knew, but I always loved.
