red
.
.
is a safe color,
the color of warning and
sweet relief,
as
a man wrapped in
plastic comes to your door,
with gifts or a fire hose,
to take you away,
or
as you zip
yourself up
in a sleeping bad with
crossed
stitches.

orange is the color of fear,
of horror,
of how you bled through
my doorway when i turned
off
my lights,
plucking at my heart
when i was trying to
sleep,:
orange is the color of night
when you want it to end.

yellow are the edges of
a picture, of memories
upturned by bees, and flowers..,
and eyes that look up
out windows.
yellow stands next to brown
as my toes tickle wood
and im warmed by
the sun,
yellow are the walls of my kitchen.

green is a gray color;
a neutral that fuels fire
with
mint swirls that surround me,
as
i wish
to run into a forest, hoping
i could somehow
drown a swamp with your body,
or
eat alligators alive.
.
i swear that i
would.

blue is left the saddest color,
ripping stains through
the sky
and leaving oceans with no
islands,
.
blue is the feeling of nostalgia
as you pray to planets
you'll never reach,
wishing for a hole to crawl into,
and a zipper for your heart.
singing
is blue, and so is
night.

purple is a royal color,
the color of a dress behind glass,
as children's laughter
tinkles and a man folds up his
coat; leather.
purple is the color of cake, or
the toys in a baby's room
and
my sheets before i cry.

black is the aftershock of sleep,
and of beauty,
as you stare at the floor from
your place on the couch and
wonder why it hurts.

i look at the sky everyday.
my personal feelings about all of the colors. a lot of these are based on memories that i have. Starts off weak but i think it ends strong. idk. life has been tough lately

How do I describe a smile?
Charming, joyful, soft
So bounce around
And laugh a while
That's how I describe a smile

How do I describe a smile?
Loving, cheerful, kind
So run very fast
And cheer for miles
That's how I describe a smile
Smile everyone

How do we summarize our lives? If we were given the choice of one word to describe the life of each person, what would yours be?

In the air
I wait

I the moment
I listen

And all, falls, so, patiently.
Every, single, moment - there is feeling

I say, all I could, all I could say.
And if you knew who I was, I would not need to explain.

But with this, you, and our slow stops - I feel stuck
Yet, I feel grounded, in the air, around, and lost
To much, all at once.

And my thoughts, my mouth cant describe - if only there was one tick
Time stops, when that feeling
Could sit, and closer, closer......
We came together.
When there is a person who you can't say what you want with them. For some reason, it is hard to be straight with them, yet there is a sense of feeling that can sometimes be stronger than words.

The way you have made me feel in this moment is probably the worst feeling I've ******* had in the past 4 months.

I've got a list of adjectives I use to describe myself
But their meanings change when told to someone else

Red flashes and white
Black spots and no air
Fear of myself and fear of drowning
Time and experience are a snare

I am hydrophobic
So instead I love fire
A hatred and fear born for water
But fire and smoke guides me clear

I fear my own anger
I fear my own strength
I fear being helpless
More fears among my ranks

I fear giving up
I fear losing friends
I fear so many minor things
And the pain doesn't end

I hate all my mistakes
So in turn I hate myself
I guide it inward so that I can
Lend help to anyone else

I hate to hurt but I hurt myself
I still hate that I do this
But if I'm not hurting others
It must be good, if anger like mist

Clouds my mind rather than my vision
So that I envision terrible things
If no-one is there, it's aimed at me
So clear and vivid, unlike a dream

I picture the pain, or perhaps the death
And when I do, I'm short of breath
I talk to myself, oh maniac I am
But at least I can connect it to where it began
pretty shaken right now... I know it is somewhat riddled but this is my past

A blue clear sky
the leafy green trees
rainbow colored flowers
the sound of buzzing bees.

A cold crisp air
freshly fallen snow
tall leafless trees
the cold an animal's foe.

A clean leafy smell
the school bell ringing proudly
and the mockingbird's call
singing so proudly.

Bright bursts of color
pollen everywhere
little showers of rain
and a sweet smell in the air.

Love,
Fortunate,
Cheerful,
Happy,
Excited,
Enthralled,
Ecstatic,
Fantastic,
and Fascinated.
Are the list of words
That are so bland
In comparison to how I feel,
when I take your hand.
The need of a new word to describe said feeling.
Miguel Soliman Dec 2015
Describe the color blue without using the word blue.*

It is the color of her eyes as you talk to her at five in the morning, just before the sun rises up. It's the color of her skin, illuminated by the hues of the skies—pale, cold, and fragile yet all at the same time safe. It's the feeling of her fingers left untouched by someone whose hands could fit perfectly in hers like puzzle pieces. It's the pulse of her heart as you walk up in her front door while she acts like she isn't home. It's the color of the waves crashing inside her brain, a mind so engulfed by an ocean of thoughts it's difficult to sway along. It's the color of her body as she walks away from you, almost like drowning—the weight crushing her slowly and then, dead all at once. It's the color of her tears, as she realizes how awful it had to be to leave you when what you two had could've been something more but will never be.
