those three empty words dismissed my doubt

These black fireworks are getting closer
Crawl around, it's fun, they say
The slower I move, the deader the knot gets
You're dizzy, shadowed, they say
Apple after apple, only glowing poison

We are going to town
With confettis in our eyes
And venture a glorysome fervent party
We wreak havoc on
Soft ground and beguile
Butterflies and bees
And we drink nectar
In garderns straight out from flowers

The gardeners will be mad
But who are they to stop us?

They can't take the happy
We coddled in our bellies
Along with our whiskey
And denial.
Along with our dreams
Digesting, fermenting
In boiling loathing

Sometimes we drown ourselves with the decadence of life just to forget our misfortunes and feelings of utter desolation.

Land of Denial

His core is filled with the collapse
Does he truly love himself?
Something he did not give to himself,
He expects others to give it to him;
When someone tries to approach him,
What does he do? He get-away!
When he believes that he is incapable of being loved,
He always seeks clues to convince,
Himself that he can not be loved.
To relinquish something you believed for so long;
It is a demanding and complicating matter.

Beautifully Broken

We are complication
Dancing in the night without a care in our heads
Loving each other like we’d someday share beds
But still merely holding on by a thread

We are denial
Blaming ourselves for mistakes that never could’ve been avoided
Feeling that one another would be better off without the other
And missing the big picture hidden within the darkness of our cover

We are the night
Talking until we fall asleep and loving every minute of it
Yet feeling that we went wrong somewhere down the line
Yet continuously loving each other just the same

We are beautifully broken
We’ve been broken down by our pasts
We’ve never known what it’s like to truly be loved by anyone
Yet we love as if we’ve known how to for thousands of millennia
