Satire,
When used in a mature manner,
Is the most absolutely delicious
Most perfect form of a quiet rebellion
That of which my every day, regular peers
Can only hope to successfully publish.
It is not to be taken for granted,
It is instead meant to be heard and admired..
And possibly even feared
For my every day, regular peers
Are victoriously standing up
With the sharpest of political tongues
And the quickest, most enlightening wit.

Delicious
tasty
I sit and savor
The flavor
of the favor
that was done for me.
you see,
all that will be done
Under one,
Below the others
Deny our mothers
The right
to fight
For everything
For just a fling
Risk your life
for a light
notice the night
and tomorrow
know the sorrow
the pain,
all in vain,
The risks that you tell,
That you unveil
As if it's you God given right,
To scream
To breath the air that we all share!
You sit and stare
Above us all,
Thinking for you
About what got you there.
About the fight
You.
We fight You!
We fight ourselves
Holding you between my lips,
I would speak in tongues
And remain forever mute.
Although I need to taste you,
There is rapture in anticipation.
I delay the moment that you yield, then burst,
Your perfect, perfumed juices
Trickling slowly down my chin.
The first sweet cherries are ripe, and they are delicious. Everyone is picking and gorging, they won't be there for long.

How many chocolates did this person eat?
If the chocolate was made before the chocolate was eaten.
It melted away through the process of heating.
But, how could the chocolate melt if the chocolate was almost freezing?

Its exposure to the sunrise was apparent,
But, at what time did it leave before becoming disparate?
The time difference was dwelled in effect,
before the chocolate was seen in such repent.

Therefore, the state of the chocolate has been pronounced viable.
In the mouth of the person of which this question ultimately relies upon.
In the sense of being eaten once it was made,
while maintaining its sweet composure without heating or freezing away.

How many chocolates did this person indulge?
If in reality it was only made an hour before it was divulged!
Only this person could really say,
to relive this encounter one must divulge away.

While the mystery revolves around the chocolates dense state,
We must indulge in a chocolate now and allow this question to dissipate.

This poem was written as a response to a mindful observation of a chocolate covered strawberry.
I've always wanted
To write a poem about it
Because, just because.
I don't know why, but I guess
I really like it.

Grandma's in the kitchen today
With a bunch of dough and butter.
I see the dough, so there I stay,
Watching her cut the dough with a cutter.
I knew what she was making now,
A batch of cookies, for the house.
I instantly thought about the 'wows'
Which would come from all over the house.

But as I looked at the cookies,
They seemed to be square, and very thick.
"I know!", I thought with a big smile,
"Grandma's making some bar-cookies!"
So with a big grin, I sat down,
And indulged with joy, not a frown.
A poem about bar-cookies (The square, thick, delicious ones). It's in a form of a sonnet, but it isn't so musical. Or is it?
