love, i dream of you
often. my
mind is lost in a
haze aphrodite
cast upon me;
my skull is a
honey-***,
waiting to be
scooped
up by some loving
hand.

You were born a cloud chaser,
Why, then do you fear touchdown.
You were born a cloud walker,
Why then do your thoughts,
sometimes, crash and burn ?

i had a sleepover with a friend
we talked all night about my lover
who wanted me sometimes
i talked and mused about him all night
as if i didn't know that we were never meant to be
in the morning i put on my shoes again
i left for work but i left my soul in bed—talking
about him made him alive and had me died
so i sat in my desk caught in a daydream and cried all-day
i skipped work the next day just to feel
the sorrow into the bones

Something as simple as reading a poem of yours can bring me back in time.
I feel as though i am a 12 year old girl again,
Coming home from school and texting you.
Hiding my phone from my mother because I don't want her to see the reason why I'm smiling so much at it.
The first stages of falling in love with you, before I even really knew you, before I even knew how to love.
When I read a poem you have written, I feel like that little girl again.
The feelings come flooding back, for just a split second.
Until I finish the poem, and I zone back out of my childhood daydream, and I realise that your poems are about another girl now, so why are my daydreams still about you?

i want to dance nonchalantly in a dust-ridden library
to all the cheesy ol' love songs from 1953,
with someone just as lost in the world's rapid haze as me

in the lazy afternoon sunlight of early spring
we could smile at the clouds messy formations in pink
ask ourselves if nature was really meant to be so god-**** pretty
while staring at each other with unspoken mutuality

sometimes i wonder
whether a person like that will ever come across me
or if this will stay a hopeless romantic's daydream forever

we'll see.

This is inspired by the song "Can't Help Falling In Love" from Elvis.

ang pawis na tumutulo sa aking pisngi
tumutulo sa aking mukha
tuwing kumakanta
sa ilalim ng tinding init ng araw
hinihintay ang sikat ng buwan sa gabi
at nananaginip habang gising.

Sitting
               standing
                            walking
                                        landing
on a cloud made of paper lace

Wishing
              dreaming
                             talking
                                         kissing
on the lips of a perfect face

Calling
             holding
                         writing
                                         hugging
in a tree house in a special place

Wanting
             needing
                           touching
                                         breathing
until the end of the dream on that glorious day

Your name
Just like a board game,
We make moves
Just like the youths.

We dance until we both get the chance
And I'll deliver my romance,
I'll stand like a knight
And you stand there like a princess.

I call you by your name and your
Beautiful face pops up,
And suddenly the heaven and earth shifts and brings me to you close up,
Can't you see? These flowers bloom?
Because it means you and I are not doomed

Lets dance
To get the chance
I don't want our romance
All end up in a trance
Because every glance
I lose my stance
And you help me so we can enhance

This unique dance
Always makes me memorize
Your name and our memories
Just like a treasury
I'd hide you from treachery

Your name
I will claim
From a big game
And tell you that we are the same,
The same in love.

I love the name of you,
You made myself a poet
That our story will be spoken
by my poems
That it makes more golden
With the presence of your name.
It means imagination, it's just a thought of being in love in a unique way.

Oh, if I could I sleep forever on a daydream's cloudy cushion,
I'm cowering again from the thrilling thunder of life's perpetual percussion,
Oh, if I could rest of an evening by the warmth of your dear smile,
No need to feel the terror of time, time would go out for a while.
