I wish there was someone who taught me
About the boys whose hobbies included
Breaking hearts of the innocent and naive.
I was unprepared when I met you,
With your dazzling smile, dimpled cheeks,
And bright, hazel eyes.
They tore down my guard, however frail it was,
In less than five words - All it took was one question,
One formality, to win me over completely.
I wish there was someone who could have warned me
That dazzling smiles and bright eyes are the best disguise
A boy can wear when they're trained professionals
In the art of breaking hearts.
But that time has passed, now I'm all yours for the taking.
I can only hope I'll be the one who changes your point of view.
But I'm learning swiftly, soon I'll be playing your games right along with you

Come closer to me, my dear,
I beckon to you gently…
advance without any fear
ever so very slowly…

A smile creeps onto my face
because I see the hesitation
with each step you place
closer to where I stand.

I shine brightly, seemingly sweet,
though I can tell you aren't fooled,
you can smell my deceit
coming through this façade.

My nefarious intent is
no longer hidden as you close in.
I laugh, my malevolence evident as
the sound wraps around you.

So come closer dear, and give me a kiss
Pay not any attention
to the poisonous taste of my lips.
You'll feel better soon, my dear.

The most dangerous place
in the world
is alone with my thoughts.
Inside every person
is a completely unique
universe, of which they
are the sole ruler,
                       dictator,
                                 GOD.
Are you a benevolent leader?

Me, I am a tortuous murderer,
                                     laying waste to all
                           good thoughts that dare
                                        try to enter here.
                          You cannot run from the
                                  voices in your head,
                          can't escape the monster
                         once it's wormed its way
                              inside your very flesh.

It would be much too dangerous to talk about
Or remember at all
That night

A piercing scream from behind
A clatter of fallen crockery on the floor
Crimson fills the apron she wore
I do not yet think to ask how or why
My heart beats a silent cry
I kneel beside to feel her warmth
All I feel are empty eyes slice into my soul

My eyes look over the pool of red
Gathered by the drops her body shed
But for the blood, she can be lost in dreams
I think, as I imagine her pale in peace
Grabbing a mop
I cleanse her of the damaging dye
Her body now remains uncoloured, untainted
Of that which still inflames her quintessence
She's been marked, I realise
In an irreparable scarlet
All action, all words- scattered on the tiles
Lying broken and futile

Oh what a beautiful sight death has become .
Sweets Apr 2014
Coolers of alcohol
Blueberry shisha
Blazing bonfire
I'm having fun
Who are you to judge me?

Empty beer cans
Ashy coals
Cigarillo butts
I'm a little dizzy
Who are you?

Spilt *****
Tipped hookah
****** advances
I can't move
"Who..are..."

Do you see him
Haunting silently in the dark.
Of course not.
He is well hidden
He only hides,
Because he fears
Everything around he hears.
He knows what he is.
He cannot show himself to the world.
It is too dangerous.
But
He will never be free
Until he just lets go.

My self medicated pain
Suppressed rather than relieved
I push the pills away
Instead I dwell on moments I'll never relive
Wonder about things I can never change
And cry the tears I'll never get back

Silence is dangerous
It means time to think
Time to wander
Time to point out every flaw
Every ***** up
Every painful memory
I'd rather live in silent torture
Than share my pain
