Boredom, as a form of torture is welcome

Brutalize us into eager lust for curiosity.

Emptiness saturates us without wonder. It's taboo to seek ideals outside of the curriculum.

However it's much more fulfilling.

The straight jacket we are in-prisoned in cripples exploration and reaching ideals that oppose your own.

Stay deaf to those that don't practice what they preach. Or those that sow hatred.

This Devine gift we are hardly deserving of must be appreciated. Gained during adolescence we neglect it.

Formal operational thought is an ability we are taught to be repulsed by. Ironic due to that ideology being repugnant and wasteful.

I've come to tears after realizing our ability to think abstractly is frowned upon by peers and society. Not only in interests of intellect.

If you speak of trying to understand real love. Especially around teen spirit. Your a "***". A "*****". A "freak". Of course these are untrue and you feel no propulsion to disprove them.

Why?

Because you're not insecure about your beliefs and feelings. You know your strong for that. You also feel confidence in your compulsion to coitus with whatever person you find attractive no matter their gender. As for being a freak, you know your peers haven't slowed down from partying and ******* long enough to ponder what an emotional drain their lewdness is. Besides their physical and mental exhaustion they complain about everyday. Their remedy is to repeat the cycle. Party, ****, die. High school is an **** for everyone who's "popular".

It is gross to see such a majority of the population waste their psychological ability no other species owns. But through reflection and learning you need to be tolerant. You see it's futile to tell others what to do or be condescending toward them. It would drain you and them due to the repulsive nature of those acts.

Offer help and love, empathy and understanding. And stay curious.

She said
I had a way with words
a tongue
that spoke to her soul
leaving a sense
of curiosity
Brayden Allen Jan 2019
I wonder, does she
plan the presence she presents
in a room? Does she
gloat in the glow of goddesses,
frolicking in the fields of her fanfare.
Or does she
muddle in her myriad of mistakes,
borrowing the broken hearts
of her long lost lovers,
trying to understand the untold
truths that come from an unlocked mind.
I wonder, does she
hate the hollow human she’s become
trying not to succumb to her mortal mind.
I wonder.

You ask me questions,
as if your curiosity itself entitled you to the answers.
Secrets,
which in the simple act of their existence engender in us a fierce protectiveness;
We want to shelter them.
answers,
which before you no one even knew to ask for.
“Do I think you’ll judge me for them?”
you ask.
And of course
of course I do.
But,
how could that be it?
Your curiosity doesn’t earn you the right of entry.
William Solomon Jan 2019
Who am I?
Am I all alone?
I have friends though,
At least that's what I want to believe.
How do people see me?
I see myself as a monster,
In fear and sorrow,
With scars on wrist.
They see a man who is happy,
That's because I want them to see that.
I lost myself long ago,
And the one I know is no longer so.
Do I need help?
Do I tell people how I really feel?
But then again everyone would just make it a big deal.
I want to say,
But I can't find that day.
I can't stop myself,
The thoughts just never go away.
And when they come,
The cuts come subconsciously.
I need help,
And will you be the one to make me stop.
I want to be myself again,
To find the brighter day,
To mend my broken soul.
But until then I sit in the cold rain,
The rain in my brain,
That causes all my pain.
Because why not, right?

When curiosity is pursued new wonders will flourish, leading you to a stark stage that continues to unfold into rose buds and rose beds. And thorns still sting but darling you will smell the summer breeze when winter nights bite your nose.

if curiosity killed the cat, at least they knew living.
