I do not flinch—not even breath—
Am I a seer, or bait for death?
My thoughts drift smokeward—dim, askew—
A mind invaded, cleft in two.

I dance on wires through fractured air,
Where silence shatters, wisdom dares.
Through fractured mirrors I am hurled—
Each step reveals a spiral world.
I follow cries the ravens rend—
Crowned by madness, I ascend.
“Crowned by Madness” explores the perilous threshold between vision and delusion. The speaker—part seer, part sacrifice—navigates a fractured psychic landscape where revelation comes at the cost of sanity. This poem is a descent into the spiral of insight, where each step shatters the known world.
The king owns nothing—yet all men kneel.
No crown adorns him; all thrones yield.
He walks where death and gods repent,
Each step a quake the Fates ne’er dreamt.

He loosed the nectar stars once brewed,
And forged new laws in iron mood.
Destiny crowned him, marked his soul—
The will that forges his own scroll.
“Maker of Destiny” is a mythic meditation on power beyond crowns or thrones. It imagines a figure who walks past gods and death itself—not to inherit fate, but to forge it. In a world ruled by prophecy and divine law, this being becomes the author of his own scroll.

It’s night, freezing much outside.
You’re talking about Paris…
Let me, please, sit closer to you
And I’ll move nearer to Paris.

You’re talking about Montmartre
And lo I am there by now.
I hear from all sides: “Oh, belle mademoiselle!”
I’m blushing as under the crown.

“Je suis fasciné par vous!” “Oh, merci!”
“Quelle beauté!” My feet are going numb.
“Asseyer-vous, s'il vous plait. Je veux peindre de vous!”
I can’t say no, and I sit down.

'Je marche sur Montmartre…'
And though I only dream it,
Beautiful Paris, that I see in your eyes,
Is enough for me to fall in love with it.
A few days ago, I met an old friend who had just returned from Paris. We talked all night. He was speaking, and I was listening with my eyes wide open! I decided to capture this moment of my life in this poem.
Thank you very much for reading! 💖
Cast forth a handful of these pro seeds;
a promise of potential – hoping the value of
them, proceeds the muck that clings to your spirit.
The filth of your mind you must strain per sieve;
being wise to carry a filter, for all the shadows that
your mind will perceive.

As I'm learning the art of resilience;
refusing to fret whenever life wears me down
– like a flower dressed by the whims of the seasons;
whether you like it out, life is full of these changes.
So gather a bouquet of flowers on top of your head,
to remind you of such a nature, and don them as
a regal crown.

My brain is the prettiest crown,
My head will ever adorn.

I frolic among ruins, my own creation
I dance with enemies long dead
Their ghosts still whisper condemnation,
I laugh at words unsaid.

A crown of thorns, a throne of dust,
I rule the wreckage with delight.
Let them curse me if they must—
Their shattered bones are quite the sight.

I tip the scales, I rig the game,
I drink the venom, wear the blame.
What fun is virtue, meek and hollow,
When sin is sweeter to swallow?

I set the fire, I stoked the blaze,
Watched it burn with a gilded gaze.
Regret’s a game for fools to play—
I’d raze it all again today.

What joy it is to know damnation
And still refuse to change or stand,
To greet the flames with exultation,
A willing fate at my own hand.
I wanted to write a poem but couldn't think what to write about I found a prompt and it was a sinner's Eulogy. I don't particularly like religious themes. I made the character the poem is about/ in the prospective of, just an awful and terrible person. They know that they aren't a good person. They just don't care. They are unapologetic and they find happiness in being a bad person.

Also I have a lot of trouble saying the word Exultation. Its a new word for me so for those who don't know it means a feeling of triumph or rejoicing.

without a chance to be well
it won’t matter
self taught lies

She dances in the rain
She dances in the sun
She dances away her pain
She never tries to run.

She has a heart of gold
Her soul spirit oh so bold
but even with that golden heart
sometimes, she breaks apart.

It is not easy to keep going,
Specially when the world says, give up, you don't know what you are doing.

People say things
People act cold
But still it's the warmth she brings
because she has a heart of gold.

She's brave, she's a fighter
and just to feel a little lighter
She dances.
She dances in the rain
She dances in the sun
waiting for that rainbow above.

Her wait wasn't long thereof,
The gold always shines
It can't be hidden for long.
The universe finally played her song
And she danced,
with all that she had;
And as if the gods rained petals over the entire town,
All of the stars aligned,
to be her crown.

Come unglued
Come undressed
Come undone
Show me
In the dark
What you’ve become
Show me
Who you are
When no one is around
Show me who you are
When you remove your crown

Heavy hangs the head
Crown created with cement
Fragile face fades
Heavy is the head who wears the crown...
