Sometimes things have to break
To make something wonderful
Although they are full of cracks
Mosaics are beautiful

(we could be a mosaic, love)
hope kills me

I want to believe when I **** its romantic
but no lovers remind me of love
because you took that from me
I am now shattered on the ground
and I can't seem to put the pieces back
they just don't fit like they used to
and no matter who I try to love
they can't fill in the cracks
just like breaking a mirror
you can glue it back
but you'll always see
and feel
those scars you left in me

Leaves flying by,
feeling my back come to meet my sides,
leaning like Pisa,
wobbling back and forth like a new driver,
                                                                    brake,
                                                                               gas,
                                                                                       brake,
                                                                                                  gas,
CRACK!

fall to the ground,
board flies south.
song flies north,
head hits the tar,

laying in the road like a parked car.
Fell off my skateboard the other day...

She is destructive.
Her smoky tail curves and curls around you,
Whipping her deadly gases about.

She breathes out a swirling rainbow
That seems to drown out anything else.
Her breath fades into a deep blackness that consumes everything in sight.

The tar on her skin drips from her tear ducts
and falls upon the ground, sizzling and creating voids
On every inch of free space.

How ugly she is,
And yet she entices you.
How long have you been her entrapped prisoner?
How long have you been chasing after her?

Never love your captor,
Never chase the destruction.
Never say the fire warms you
When I can so clearly see the burns on your skin.
Never say the blade is dull
When you have blood dripping from your wounds.
Never tell me that White Demon has no grip on your forearm,
When I will watch you dragged through mud and blackness
At the cruelty of her hands,
Blindly and unknowing.

How long have you lusted for the White Demon?

Crack*
The mirror broke.
And such a thing, although inevitable,
Tainted my vision,
And stole my hope.
I lost my smile,
When, what I had was lost.
Irreparable,
Irreplaceable,
Overwhelmingly...
Untraceable.

Over time the pain faded
And was replaced anew,
Increasingly constant,
Blindening,
Suffocating.

Crack
Another's mirror broke
And the innocent pain, revived,
Gifted my mind,
With the cracked
Memory of my mirror.
When you hear stories
about a crew, -Cheffin' it up,
know this...

The stars, they swirled then settled, shown bright the light piercing through the night straight to my heart

The beauty, breathless, we were four of us, drunk with joy, living the moment, the moment was endless. This was life thought I at 16, at 16 life was forever like the forever of the universe above.

I took a second puff, who knew it would change my life; I knew though I cared not, not when all was so stunningly beautiful as I was as they were as we were that very first night.

We where four, it was Summer, endless days upon a lake away from home sneaking off on our own until those days came to the end we dreaded so but who would've known us four would meet once more.

Back home we met when her parents weren't home and the joint was so perfect for the four of us alone, and we smoked and we toned and if only we had known this was it, it was great and it won't ever be the same.

White as snow like tiny crystals she and I in her bathroom with a foil folded midway so the smoke would rise our way through a straw I inhaled and the feeling **** was great and we got into my car, she and I, drove for hours out the city through the mountains down the coast with the air, air so fresh it smelled of her, her long hair, and her smile, and the music as our soundtrack.

Crystal **** was like joy on a silver sheet of paper we inhaled and we drove then we parked and we touched and we lived and we had loved, did we know that this was it or did we think it was the start

Of our lives we weren't kids, we were smart as smart can be, superhuman she and I as we smoked and toked and laughed and then we parked and the breeze and our bodies became one under the fading Autumn sun.

Winter came as did she with a glass pipe and a new drug for us to live life once more like once, once which wasn't so long gone but to us was like a lifetime so she dropped a rock of crack in the glass pipe which we passed

Back and forth as I drove windows down under the sun this was life WE were life who would ever question us, as the clouds gathered above, and they cried for both of us

Smoking crack thinking that life is worth no more than that, and as Winter drew to close, we were tired and alone but the pipe was such a bond and we drove with music on, parked the car atop a cliff and she stepped out high and light, light as air and her hair and her smile our eyes locked and the rock beneath her feet they gave way and she smiled she would fly since she was high...

And the end came swift and clean, she had slipped down the ravine.

It's begins when one person
Treads across the ice
To get where they need to
But when others follow
The cracks begin to show
Then hidden by the falling snow

As more use this easier path
The cracks continue to form
But once one crosses
They could not care less
For those after them
Or for the cracks to come

Then one cracks is too many
And one falls in, then two
Then all begin to fall
And become lost in the depths
Of greed and desire
Because the other path was harder

Now all those who try to cross
Are stuck with nowhere to go
Because the path of hard work
Was lost to the snow
Temporary are the short cuts
Permanent are determination and guts
