Did I ever tell you about my favourite place?
By day it's ok, but the trace is erased of a night spent together,
Just some bent, dented heather,
It's idyllic, stay a minute, to an hour, then forever.

It's a hilltop dotted with forests and blotches
of discarded lockets, pick-pocketed wallets,
Snapped straps and their watches and trees carved with notches,
A deposit for problems where noise is just nonsense.

A dirt track on the side of the hill snakes like an ivy vine,
Through thick bushes, but I know it by heart, so I'll be fine,
Push the leaves aside and peek behind, over river, nearly time,
Reach the clearing, feast your eyes, silence gives no eerie vibe.

It overlooks the town, and looking down you've never felt so tall and mighty,
But staring up at there's too much, you'll never feel so small and tiny.

It's four in the morning, the sunrise is dawning,
The only tire here involves both of you yawning.
The sky comes alight, covered like white bug bites,
Illuminating the two amazing souls joined underneath.

It's my idea of eden and your hearts will start to beat in tune,
So weave a braid of fingers, feel the heat, let them feel it too,
Take it slow, or make it so you're only his or only hers,
Isolated yet connected, it's my favourite place on a lonely earth.

Opposites don’t attract, they exist in complimentary union at a distance acting in synchronicity.  Mirror me, am I you? Are we we? are you Yin? When I hurt do you feel pleasure? When we zig, we zag but we’re both in motion, in action.  Am I creating or just waving my waves about in space. Perhaps there is no my, there is no face.  existence is an amorphous blob, individuality a wasted case.

Here we stand. In front of each other. Raindrops roll off our faces.
There's no need to say a word.
We just stand here. In the rain. But we don't notice the drops.
There's no need to speak.
We're connected.
Here, in the rain.
As always for my love. ♥

Two broken souls
Trying to make each other whole
They were quite a mess when they found each other
Each had lived through torment, one after another

Her body was full of scars, just trying to maintain
His heart had been trampled and drained
They gave each other their own heart
They found it filled in all the parts

And together they were whole
They were connected, soul to soul

Her with all her worries of the future
He always tried to hush and nurture
He would slay all her demons and doubt
She showed him what true love was all about

They loved each other so
Like they had known each other long ago
They lived joyfully for many many years
There was only ever joyful tears
Until that one horribly sad day
The Lord took her away

On that day his true love died
He just wanted to be by her side
He just seemed to wither away
Without her by his side he didn't want to stay

Soon after he passed too
Even in death his true love he would pursue
They say he died of a broken heart
But I know it was because she had his missing parts

before you'll able
to help
others...

understand your
pain first and
confide
to
your
inner
being...

upon listening
you'll reflect
your own,
by then
you can
be connected
to their heart strings...

empathy is a blessing
as it is a burden.
it hurts you more
than it pains them...

just stay
on a steady
phase,
then you'll be
okay...
it feels like i just translated what empathy means... just in my own words, my own way of understanding...

I have held
softly pulsing
newborn heartbeat fluttering
breath of love, dying
arc of a life, trying
not to cling
too tightly
to anything

I have touched
directly to my tongue
felt the jolt
spark my lips
so pure
crystallized
I became
undone

I have fought
with abundant faith
despite knowing
the human continuum
feckless tide
love or hate
maybe it really is
up to fate

I have radiated
divine conductor
electric soul
it flows in me
it flows in you
we are all
pure energy
clean-burning fuel

Odd
Here i am standing on an eerie looking stage,
Without a hint of nervousness,
How odd they say, to not feel the pressure being stared at by all these eyes
Being the centre of the attention,
Being the one to be judged,
Ahh yes.. Of course its odd for someone without the gift of sight
To be given the chance to speak for the world
A world where a man has been living in all his life,
Yet not a split second able to see.
How odd....

The oxygen that we breathe
in
and
out
every minute of every day
is not lost
but shared
re-used
recycled
recirculated.

If we are in the same room –
or sealed hermetically for hours
in the cabin of a plane –
we breathe continuously
the same air,
the oxygen goes from me to you
and back again.

But air currents,
prevailing winds,
the jet stream,
cyclones and anti-cyclones,
all move the atmosphere further
and further still,
so that even if we are
on opposite sides of the globe,
separated by oceans,
it is a statistical certainty
that I still breathe in
atoms of oxygen
that were once
inside
you.

Do they carry your thoughts,
your feelings,
your poetry to me,
or mine to you?
Who can say?
I can but hope it,
as I thank you
for keeping me alive.

GOI
You, and your tricks and your toys
Running with your bad ideas
Like scissors You, and your kicks and your ploys
To see what messes you could create for your gallerias.

Feed me *******
Smoke me down
Pour me champagne
Evaporate this town

You're a liar
But I need you in my marrow...
Yes, now, the notes are gettin' higher
The hallways narrow

As my brain gets brighter
Eyes get wider
Life gets lighter
As I sip sweet cider

I'll look up longer
Still connected to Earth's core
Body to mind, stronger
Watching beauty, on it's hinges swing the door

Leaves drip like tears from trees
As the clouds paint the sky
But still life is full of idiosyncrasies
And you still told too many lies
