She has lived, she has wandered,
loved and lost, dreamed and fallen.
She is not untouched by time,
nor unshaken by the past.
But if she stands beside you now,
if she looks at you with eyes that see
not just who you are,
but who you are becoming,
what else matters?

She is not perfect—
neither are you.
Together, you may stumble,
may fumble through the dark,
may misunderstand and misstep.
But if she makes you laugh,
if she stirs your thoughts,
if she is unafraid to be real,
to be flawed, to be human—
hold onto her.

She may not think of you
every moment of the day,
but she will give you the one thing
that costs her most to lose—
her heart.
So handle it gently.
Don’t try to change her,
don’t measure her love against expectation,
don’t ask for more than she can give.

Instead—
smile when she brings you joy,
tell her when she makes you ache,
and when she is gone,
miss her.

Will you be the tears between my eyelids?

Hold me together when the night wind hits?

Only Sandcastles can fight this..

Where is my water drop bridge?

There’s a rare breed who go all in,
Shining bright, fierce within.
Few can match their fearless drive,
Turning dreams into the life they strive.
Here’s to the individuals who give their all to their pursuits, pushing beyond limits, and embracing every challenge.

Our roots of love have intertwined over the years,
anchored deep in the earth of trust,
growing stronger with each season.
Though storms may rage,
our love stands tall, unwavering in the face of time’s passage.
A celebration of the enduring strength and depth of love that only time can cultivate. This poem speaks to the power of commitment, trust, and growth over 15 years of marriage, where challenges are weathered together and love stands firm against the passage of time

Your hair twists around a chopstick
As you tell me you don’t need them to eat
I would do anything to see your curls turn grey
One strand at a time

Hold you when you cry
Heal you when you’re hurt
Brush your hair,
rub your feet,
breakfast in bed
Cook for you
Read to you
walk with you
protect you always
stay with you
Without recompense
Without a grandiose facade

I walk up the stairs to your house
My heart in anticipation
I jump into your arms
It is special each time

Something as innocent as knitting
Reminds me of us
Two needles and One strand of yarn
Creates thousands of stitches
Unbroken and uncut

The V's and the U's of the fabric
Repeating rhythmically
A needle enters a loop a thousand times
Repeating rhythmically

Sometimes the hand falters
And needs more guidance
The needle slides in a thousand more times
And continues the V's and the U's
Unbroken and uncut

i’m addicted to the intimacy of closeness,
but i detest the limitations of closeness.

i’m addicted to the freedom of openness,
but i detest the infinity of openness.
just another gemini addicted to the contradiction

There is a woman, whom I know
You are so beautiful
Yet so often, she won’t let it show

There is a man, I may be he
I have always loved you
Yet so often, she cannot see

He won’t give up, no matter the pain
Somehow, I am the enemy
Were the last 10 years really in vain?

Warm light of Sun sets
Cold black darkness sets in

But did the Sun set?
Is darkness even new?
Or has darkness always been here?
Do we simply now have a view?

He is told he is the problem.
He is told “don’t blame me”.
He is told he has not valued.
He is told he cannot see.

He is told he is not good enough.
He is told others were better.
He is told she is not the problem.
He is told “only he has upset her”

Why, why oh Lord… I do not know…

This is my life’s calling, this is my conviction
I know not why, but I trust this is my mission
And while in this place of terrible friction
A “why” starts to appear among the most awful affliction

He knows he’s not perfect, he knows he has flaws
For these, I am so sorry
But he cannot find in good conscience, that he was the cause

She is hurting and confused, feeling such great pain
I am here for you my darling
There is much brokenness, feeling such great shame

She hides so much, even from family and friends
Please let me in my darling
He won’t leave her side, in this journey to the end

There is a woman, whom I know
You are so beautiful
Her opening up, is letting it show

There is a man, I may be he
I have always loved you
He hopes she will see

Speed in love
Speed to eat, from a rainbow
Speed to know, the sun shines for us
Speed to give, a heart an angels how

Spare me...
The reach of roles; worth endeavor...
Subtle likes, of when the earth becomes anarchy
Can't, a face see the life we were?

Candor, in a hand held
So to how, a vestige of resilience
Come by sense, a meet so little
Of how a soul can be, a lover's chance...

Save a wish
The times throw of light
Sense we shall know, has reality to relish
Stark knowledge of better, than a dread right...

To see what went away
In the might's of generosity
Just to become, just to say
We know love is life's virtuosity
Seldom, have one, gone wan, done won; do you know the difference?
