A Flowered Tux May 2018
Two Heart breakers, standing in a room
One that you didn't suspect,
she's just starting to bloom.
And the other is what you expected,
making every heart go boom.

One never gave others a choice.
She hides information behind a knowing smirk
Her smile can turn any heart twords her.
Little did they know that a siren's song can lurk
In the sweetest of voices.

The other caused explosions
and it was only after the boom did they realize
that the aftermath was not worth the thrill of the fall.
They look around say with cries,
"I was never really chosen!"

Those two Heart breakers start to grow close,
giving the other what they require the most
of what they had to offer
Neither one seems to know
that they hold the others love.

The one who causes explosions of lust
is the first to fall
she got attached to quickly
the other wasn't ready.
So, she decided waiting wasn't for her
and moved off from the cliff's edge
to find another.

The one going into bloom
fell too late.
She missed the deadline and was so close.
But, the other had already moved on.
So, she moves on but left apart of her behind.
Because you never know when she might return.

The bloomer is now a flower.
The explosions have become dust.
They both have continued on but
keep going in circles around that edge.

Will they fall down together?
Or will they go their separate ways again?
One is too unpredictable and wild.
The other is too prepared and tame.
Maybe they will meet at this cliff's edge again.
Fall with me darling, fall and hope we'll grow wings and fly.

I’m exactly where I want to be
On this cold, empty, cliff
With waves crashing
And wind swirling
The sky is clear and blue
But the air is biting
and the light is blinding
My lips are dry

I’m exactly where I need to be
Right by your side
As your toes are hanging
They see the dark water
My hands are sure and true
As they hold you back
I wont let you die
a piece from 2013. I remember exactly why I wrote this how I felt writing it. It means a lot to me even now

i stand

on top

of a cliff

mesmerised

by your beauty;

you are

the ocean.

my heart beats fast

as i

look down below.

the hue of blue

beckons me.

the sound

of the waves

crashing

whispers

a gentle “hello”

to me.

the wind’s

gentle embrace

gives me

unexplainable warmth.

i always wanted

to jump

into your beauty —

but for now,

i’ll enjoy where i am.
i feel bad for not posting my constant emotional outbursts since i’m out of town and enjoying the beuty of beaches so here’s something i wrote in relation to cliff diving yesterday.

it was so scary but i jumped regardless. and i actually did it three times. it was so exciting.

It’s a word on the tip of the precipice
Teetering and tottering
While I slide backwards away
Muttering sullenly and with bravado
“You can’t make me fall.”

like the very sound of her voice could save me
like i would give her my soul so she could be happy

like walking to the edge, heart pounding
like the step before the fall

heart hit first,

i shattered.

i should've jumped off the cliff for you,
let the rocks throw themselves through my shattered soul
had my bruises cut open even more
and still run with my bloodshot eyes
paving a way through my cloudy sky,
struggling to avoid the muddy waters
as i keep my heart all still and complete;
for you to gratify again and again
to be sure you won't let me down.

jumping off a cliff wouldn't hurt as much;
one leap would have my life shut
with my hands tightly ****** with cuts.
i will let you dig my grave
their tears blotting the casket.
but i'd like to feel yours, how they stream;
how your eyes puff out when you scream
to make me stay, to make sure i stay
insist my death to delay.

my heart will stay with yours, dear
until its last beat cries out your name
my organs might detoriate
but my mind will keep our fate.
now lying ice-cold with my filth,
my heart pumps its faint droplet
circulating all the regrets and guilt
why i didn't take a ride
to jump off that cliff.
