With every step,
you and I
We make our beds.

In the piney mosses
that grows in the cracks
of tired sidewalks.

Near the nest of peels
and fallen flakes from
age old graffiti.

We walk against  
forgotten faces
of decrepit buildings.

You and I
We lay our heads here.
To dream of a world gone by.

Across the air rang like a choir,
Screaming out, "please ceasefire!"

My enemies my death conspire,
Hunting as with wolflike desire,

Each soul appears not but a liar,
Flesh torn, ripped on barbed wire,

Lust a blood like burning fire,
Swept away with ashes prior,

Kindling under darkest desire,
Shadowed street hunts supplier,

Skeletal corpses crawl to acquire,
Trading of souls given and buyer,

Needing a fix goes higher, higher,
Laced with delusions do transpire,

Beautiful psychosis of thorny brier,
Taken ahold discarded shier,

Memories faded in treaded tire,
Eyes glare don't dare to enquire,

Undoubtedly lost in death retire.

The unknown city
Enveloped in dark
So black even light would fear
She walks on barely visible
Standing still felt more frightening
She feels numb
She looks down and her legs missing
She see busses and cars
And trams and trains
Being driven by people and their eyes missing
There was sky but weather
There were trees but leaves
There were owls but feathers
There were bats all crying
She wanted to breathe and her nose missing
A strange sound plays somewhere around
Squeaks of abandoned seesaws and laughing clown
Playing an opera of horror
She wants to scream
Her voice choked
An immortal horror takes over
She hears a ring
A doorbell ring
She breaks her sleep
And realize it a dream
The bell kept ringing
She goes to the door
The door won't open
She looks at her bed
She is deep asleep
She shakes her up
She won't wake up
Tears roll on her cheeks her cry was missing
She wants to scream
Her voice was missing
She opens the door
The other side was missing
She turns around
She was missing
In the unknown city

Another Night Here
Yelling in the Hallway
Can’t make all the words

Filled with too many people
who are nothing
but strangers.

At its zenith, perhaps in the first half
of the 1st millennium   AD, Teotihuacan
was the largest city in the pre-Columbian
Americas, with a population estimated
at 125,000 or more, making it at least the sixth
largest city in the world during its epoch.

Apart from the pyramids, Teotihuacan
    is also anthropologically significant
for its complex,  multi-family
          residential compounds,
the Avenue of the Dead &   its vibrant murals
that have been exceptionally  well-preserved.
Additionally,      Teotihuacan exported
         fine obsidian tools that are found
                     throughout Mesoamerica.

The city is thought to have been established
around 100 BC, with major monuments
continuously under construction until
about AD 250. The city may have lasted
          until sometime between the 7th &
8th centuries AD, but its major monuments
were sacked & systematically burned around AD 550.

Teotihuacan began as a religious center
in the Mexican Highlands around the first century AD.
It became the largest and most populated
center in the pre-Columbian Americas.
Teotihuacan was even home to multi-floor
apartments &     condominium compounds
                        built to accommodate
a            large & growing          population.
The term Teotihuacan (or Teotihuacano) is also used for the whole civilization and cultural complex associated with the site.
