“Oh soldier, my soldier,” GOD calls out from the forest. In the leafy greens and cerulean creeks, surrounded by birds and bumblebees, sits a soldier by Dei’s stream. His forearms over his knees, with chainmail as his sleeves. He wears a helmet of iron, looking through dark little slits, at the dandelions and daisies, and how their petals flick.
“My child, My beloved,” GOD whispers through the reeds, a misty fog creeps up the warrior, through tiny holes it creeps. A spirit lingers among the branches, aware of every sound. It is everywhere and somewhere, a spirit with little sound. GOD strolls through the wilderness, looking for his lamb. And that’s where he found him. And took him by the hand.
“Oh lost lamb, I’ve been looking through the high and mellow creaks. I have searched from dawn to dusk now, I’ve found the one I seek.” GOD hovered round the man, until the knight gave in, raising up his voice, though silence he was in.
“Your lamb, you call me, yet You have nothing to herd. I’m here and unmoving, I’m a tree and I’ve been rooted. How long can You circle me, like a lion on a hunt? You know that I’m unyielding, I’ll slander You if I must.” The soldier replied in his poetry, words twisting the knife. But GOD saw through his heart, and responded with no spite.
“I’ll circle you a million years and wait until you fall. Then I’ll catch you in my arms and answer when you call. I’ll take the slander to My name, and I’ll wait until the day that you find Me and knelt down you say, ‘Lord take my pain away’. I’ll turn your armour into streets of gold, I’ll collect all of your tears. You shall hunger no more, nor shall you thirst; I shall feed you and lead you unto living fountains of waters. This I promise forevermore.”
Then with weeds and sombre creeks, the knight sat there with no steed. Alone the soldier thought he was but GOD still circled, an echoing verse. “Away from me, Lord, I’m unworthy,” the soldier said, without an apology.
“I forgive you, child. I take you in, a meal and drink you’ll have your pick. Once unworthy, by Son you are, now take the Crown, the Crown of Glory. I am the GOD who was and is and is to come, nothing will change that. Nothing, my son.”
It isn't a poem but it sure feels like one

O glorify yourself True Lord,
Inner light, providence broad.

Speak through miracle and death
In your spirit may we dwelleth.

May we speak against earthly kings
in favour of the true King, you, O lord.

May we help our brethren in You,
oppose devilish barons for You.

For His light is in everyone, Oh yes you
turk, you jew

Glorify Him in the one True Synagogue or Mosque
and remember, you too, are apart of His flock.

People say:
God's evil, or that He doesn't care,
but im contrary to them,
for everytime I pray, or when I cry, or when I call out to him,

He is there.
In the room.
Offering comfort in my soul and assuring me that everything's
going to be alright

He's the voice in the wilderness that says
'come this way to be sheltered from the storm'
I go gladly and I shelter myself
from my worries

Place one hand on my shoulder
and guide my head under
You welcomed me to the world
so let me drown at your fault
Smile at me faintly as the waves
ripple over my eyes and fill my lungs
Like a babe being baptised
you hold the back of my skull
Now, not to keep me from drowning
but to show me your gentle touch
As my body erupts in panic, I flail
I feel your love
And for the slights you caused
I feel your sorrow
But I am too far gone, no longer
needing your hands to keep me afloat
Or to hold me under
2020 was a dark place, lately I feel myself returning to that place (to that mentality, and I feel her at the centre of my issues)

Crosses still hang
as remnants of the past
Reminders of old traditions.
Only few years have gone,
but /decades/ Says her heart.

The life they gave grows older,
No longer sewn to the Mother.
The hope and faith in their eyes
dimmed in her years past,
So while the crosses still hang
It seems they’ve lost all meaning
For the Mother and their beliefs
died with her youth.

life isnt a test, but revision

Gnosticism is my current question
Rummaging through the fabric of time
Every rip leads me to my childhood bedroom
Empty toy boxes toppled over, uniformly
Newborn cries painted onto this plane

Christian doctrines and hyper-pop
Radical leftists holding onto rosaries
At last, unity? Or performance?
Time, time, time—fleeting as always
Even as I contemplate these green crates
Stacked atop the black ones
Listened to “Everything is romantic” by Charli xcx as I wrote this.

sunbitten fingerprints all over my hands.
my body is my transport and everything in between.
i am a passenger in lethargy
fallen away sleeplessly
staples in my bedsheets my skin its paper
sunken in teeth
heavy rapid quick quickening shaky breathing
shamed to be burdened and carried
but all the same burned by the sun
by the son
aimlessly to wander where i first began
handheld and handmade but i am just an automaton
writhing in my own flesh.
give me a piano and i can return it new
but God, tell me i'm not alone in this.
all of this is so lonely.
a commentary on my failures
Often we assume we have understood the fullness of God’s profundity
When in fact, only a smidgen of His glory is what we perceive
Although the full glory of God is something we cannot fully comprehend,
Through His word, little by little He helps us to understand

The glory of the Lord is revealed through His inexhaustible provision,
This can be seen from how He constantly provided for Israel from its inception
God lovingly provides us with many things to meet our physical needs
But beyond that, He gives His word to meet the spiritual needs of those who seek

The glory of God is revealed through His power and protection,
An example is how He went before the Israelites and gave them direction
His glory is also revealed through His promises and His presence,
If only we would use our senses to see and listen with reverence

God provides us with senses to catch glimpses of His immeasurable glory,
From sight to hearing He helps us to behold His glory personally
The gift of senses is to be used to recognise God beyond the external appearances,
For only when our spiritual senses are awakened can we sense His presence

Our challenge is to recognise the presence of God and His glory,
To constantly seek and serve the Lord with humility
Let us be encouraged to sing, declare and proclaim the glory of the Lord,
And strive to be faithful believers and servants of God!

The problems of life are near, disguised in every tear
How I long to overcome, this emptiness of fear
All the problems get in my way,
And sometimes I wonder, how will I go through the day?

When I was down, discouraged and weak,
He spoke to me, tenderly and sweet;
"Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid;
For I am with you, even as the trials await."

When the problems got so great,
When I could barely face the day,
I felt His comforting presence around me,
As I heard Him say lovingly:

"Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid;
For the peace I leave with you, no one can take away."

Inspiration: John 14:27
