When I dream of you
Its not what I choose to do
It’s something I must

The sun
was always there
The rain
was never meant to stay
But people
will always-
*always choose the rain.
Let's not take constant things for granted. They're not zero.

...i could..
i could love you...
i could love you better..

Places you would've loved to go , even the avenues,
Remembered all that you are and what you do,
Heartaches in life,love i had a few,
almost went crazy over you,
to me you're Something new..

i could love you better than he ever has in his life,

sacrificing everything for you baby, you could be my wife,

In this life its give and take,
Gonna have to get your way,
i just want my way to be in your direction
just to see your pretty face,
you're a drug,you're not a phase,
you're the only one that meets all my attractions,
you,
love,
to,
the,
best of your abilities when you've been sighted,
In this thing that we call life,
Wanna be that man in your life,,
you're the only one that i have ever like...

i'll do my best to do right by you,
your the guiding force in my virtues,
simulations make me more into you,
doing things we wouldn't do,
free as a bar stool,

i could love you better than he ever has in his life,

sacrificing everything for you baby, you could be my wife...

In this life its give and take,
Gonna have to get your way,
i just want my way to be in your direction
just to see your pretty face,
you're a drug,you're not a phase,
you're the only one that meets all my attractions,
you,
love,
to,
the,
best of your abilities when you've been sighted,
In this thing that we call life,
Wanna be that man in your life,,
you're the only one that i have ever like.

Hap
hap*
/hap/

noun
1. luck; fortune

verb
1. come about by chance

And it hit me,
by happenstance,
that perhaps,
per-chance
I'd been
wrong.

Wrong in believing
a happiness
was owed
to people
and would
flow to me
not by happenstance
but by choice.

By choice
and by choosing
the right path.
But the path
of choice
and of choosing
the one
that is right
is a very wrong
and anxious
path
indeed.

And indeed
I am
the anxious type
from years
of fears
that by
trusting choice
over happenstance
I'd choose
wrong.

But I didn't
choose wrong.
Nor did I
choose right.
I chose
not to choose
at all.

I'm also
the sad type.
And now
I worry
that by
definition of
hap
and thus
of happiness
I'm not sad
by happenstance
but of
choice.

You decided to
smile your way through,
all the way into my heart,
with the smile of a silent assassin
I can't recall letting in,
and the eyes of a risk,
a risk I'm willing to take
because what do I have to lose?
In the end,
the rage that makes your heart quake
is equal to the love
which makes your bones shake
and out of all the madness
coating the world in debris,
you'd still be the one I'd choose.

Do you see me or the girl in the mirror?
The one without fears,
or the one filled with tears?
The one standing tall,
or with back against wall?
Quietly smiling, happy and bright,
or easily frightened, holding herself tight?
Always accomplished, always content,
or never enlightened, never unbent?
Perfect features brightening the room,
or scared open eyes awaiting her doom?
Now that you can see who I really am,
who will you choose to hold hand in hand?

She's more than you see, her worth simply priceless,
if you let her be, you may find her lifeless.

We wake up and plan
to smile at strangers,
and hold the door open,
and say no to anger.

But then there's traffic,
and road rage and red lights,
and cut-offs and cuss-outs,
daydreaming of fights.

Our destination is reached,
and our hands are in fists,
we stomp down the halls,
and crash by accident.

Coffee spills, papers scatter,
faces red, eye contact made,
thoughts are racing, anger raising,
a small flame ignites great hate.

We watch the scene
play in our head,
like directing a movie
and take one is red.

It's yelling and screaming,
insulting and punching,
automatic desire,
but solving nothing.

Aren't we lucky
we aren't bound by our thoughts?
We might be tempted,
but slaves we are not.

Aren't we lucky
if take one leads to
mistakes or trouble
we can choose a take two?

We all need food,
to feed our souls-
choose wisely.
