He was water
He was fire

He was calm
He was thrill

He was peace
He was chaos

He was comfort
He was risk

He was a bubble
He was a race car

He was what I needed
He was what I wanted
Well, if you really cannot tell yet, 'He' is two different people. As women we are constantly caught between the thrill and risk of one man and the calm and peace of another.

Drones in the sky
Fleeing young couples game
Sick of shepherd's pie
Hunting different friendly animals
Nothing left to deny
A prayer for the near living
Wonder why so high
Defection from the starry heavens
Deify us an alibi
It was the woman you gave me
Move on to a new stimuli
So...you live around here often?

Will it make you full of joy?
Will it be too many calories?
Will it make you worry?
Will it help you not worry?
Will it make you have regrets?
Will it make you sick?
Will it be calling your name?
Will it make you happy?
Will it satisfy you?
For... how ...long?
If you can, you should.
If you can’t, then don’t.

While fiction is safer

Reality's much stranger.

(There may be a lie to suit your every need

But there's always a truth that would set you free.)

Stories will make you

Your own safe haven

In the arms of imagination.

(You might miss the path the present lights

Towards your destination.)

Living a life fueled by love

Wouldn't be worth a thing

If you didn't have a heart.

(But isn't your brain

An issue more pressing

When it's what's kept it beating

From the start?)

A lifetime is but

Some boring tale

If you don't aim for the stars

Leaning over the rails.

(But what if you fall

To your untimely death?

Are risks truly worth it

When there's so much time left?)

Live your life

Running fast

Drive your destiny

Foot pressed to the gas.

(Listen to your intuition

Never roam

Where your soul feels safe

Is where you should feel at home.)

Jump from the nest

Fly your own jet

Make each brand new day

One you'll never forget.

(Don't spend your days in a haste

Not one moment's a waste.

Keep your time moving slow

Who knows what could change tomorrow?)

Dance when with the ones you love

Sing a melody when alone.

Embark on new adventures

Accept the unknown.

(Give a smile to your lover

An embrace to your mother

Try to never end your day

Feeling bereft.)

At the end of the day

Know that none of these choices

Are limited by right and wrong.

(They only ask you

To turn right or left.)

Fingers yearning, burning for touch

Cool skin warming under the heat of desiring eyes

Melded from memories of midnight places

And timeless glances

Welded eyes want to give all the clues to every secret longing, yet nothing away.

An inch spanning eternity a fragile bridge formed by the heat of breath swirling invitations of divine pleasures and intricate patterns for desires filled with aching, yet wanton abandon refrains

The rare heady warmth and enveloping depth of hearts intertwining in some mystic soul ritual, as if it had been too long and naught but for the savouring of such tension like the surface of clear glassy water before shattered by the shock wave of a projectile, just before chaos and expulsion ensue,

tip to tip shared breath, aching for the finite change of the slightest touch, not a hair arched forward, not a finger tip dared move, frozen in the complete confession of a love found unforced, not chosen, nor designed by day dreams. It just was as it had always been inextricably theirs yet not for this moment, this plane, or this existence, but love, never plays by the the rules
You're all on your own from here, do love like it matters most, do chances like they'll never come again, to life like it's the most wonderful thing of all!

I lost myself the other night
I didn’t think it would happen...
I didn’t think I’d have to choose so soon
But I had the chance
Finally an opportunity
And I gave in
Because I wanted it.
My mind was made up years ago
I’d decided to finish the bottle
Long before I started it
So I forced it down
More and more...
Feeling ill
Giddy
Relaxed
Finally something nice...
And when I’d already gone a bit too far
I went a little further
The gently swaying hotel room
Began to spin violently
And honestly....
I can’t remember much of the rest
I blacked out
I knew I would
I’d decided long ago.

And though my stomach protested
I just kept going...
You begged me to eat
Insisted I slow down
Drink some water
I listened a little
But I was determined.
You had to hide the rest
Because you knew I’d try and drink it.
My first time truly free
And I was out of control
I’ve wanted it for so long....
And to my dismay
It was everything I’d hoped for
Though satisfying for a short time, it’s only left me craving more....

Always,

You choose tea,
and,
I go for coffee.

We accept our choices,
then we sit together.
we share similarities,
no other has.
Sometimes there are differences between two individuals in their preferences, choices, and beliefs, but still, they care more about the similarities they hold more than the differences.
They seek for the blank spaces.
