Some things don’t necessarily happen just by chance
but come about with actions we do or not in advance.

Does life have order

    Are we just colourful leaves

   Slaves to fortune's wind
I am not so sure,
I gave you so many chances
And now I regret
Some people Never change
Make your plans with real intent
Don’t let your life play out by chance
Yet plans can still be light and fun
When you do the prosperity dance

Combine your goals in playful ways
Step by step - your life enhance
Consider well what matters most
When you do the prosperity dance

Engage in things that stir your soul
Even when others look askance
Your life is yours to shape and build
When you do the prosperity dance

You know the inner world comes first
Do “Spirit-Creation” in advance
And watch your visions come to pass
When you do the prosperity dance

My life goes better when I dance. I don't mean literally dancing, but a playful moving between activities rather than grinding through a huge list of "to do" items. The Prosperity Dance is a mindset that improves life and builds prosperity.

The prosperity dance involves choosing what's truly important for the day, which means some things fall out and just don't get done. That's OK! The prosperity dance also involves creatively involving other people in your projects (and doing the same for them).

Yes, it's a lot to fit into a short poem. It also includes spiritually creating events and scenarios ahead of time, which always helps them play out better.

Light filtering through the room,
A slight disturbance,
A common enemy,
Phosphenes dancing as you awaken,
The weight of your eyelids lifting,
Unveiling your surroundings,
An announcement of your existence,
Your choice to restart the world,
To have another look,
Just in case.
It’s a mixture of curiosity, maybe a little hope,
And possibly a bit of fear.
But that moment you open your eyes,
Each morning after your dreams,
The moment your darkness disappears,
To be captivated by light,
Is the moment you decide to give the world another chance.

The moment you decide to give the world another chance...

a ruined bed, two lovers lay,
outside, the first slow breath of day,

a song is sung - a bird, up high,
born years ago, somehow survived

the rip and tear of tooth and claw,
hatched from a nest that did not fall,

a slender limb that did not break
on sleeping earth that did not quake

grown old and tall and straight and wide,
a withered seed that never died,

blown from afar on autumn breeze,
stirred from the ground with careless ease,

a little boy raking the ground
looked to the sky, and heard the sound
of birds
Everything is connected.

Decisions
-
A part of life where you’d like gravity to stop

And just fly away

Decisions are a part of growing up

Sometimes it’s hard to decide
-
Sometimes it’s easy to decide

Sometimes it’s hard to accept decisions
Or make decisions

Decisions affect your life
Decisions can hurt or make you happy
-
Or both at the same time

Everybody makes decisions to make their life better or get another chance

After making a decision
-
You feel freed
-
But there also is this other feeling that hurts
Make your life better with the decisions you make

I think hours about that minute, months past,
Wishing my cab hadn't come.
Wishing we hadn't places
Nor people to be.

Though few nights more than strangers,
Our dream striding cities and oceans,

Not a thing was out of place

Simply and so naturally,
As I held you for the last time,
Felt your lips on mine,

Then walked away.

A notice, a chance
To speak face to face
Presented and hopeful
Alas, when voiced to those in power
The first response, a gentle no
The second, a firm rejection
Surprised, and eventually scared

Loaded and driven away
Fear settles in
An icy realization
Notify the partner in crime
All is unstable

Arriving at the destination
Other home
Another place where I yearn to be alone
To shed tears of fear and pain
A deep, gnawing aching
Once more, a fresh wound
A gaping hole in my chest
Bleeding, tainting all it touches

Allowing salty rivers to flow for a short while
Then fold, fold enough paper to stretch for a mile
25 at one home, 65 at another
Folding until I must stop
Or until not one more tear does drop

All left to be shed on the inside
Then laid to rest
For remembering what I had said,
"I will wait for you, as long as it takes."

This promise I shall keep
Indeed, sometimes I shall weep
But would one not weep,
When all is left to the unknown
And you are left all alone?

The days shall be long
But I shall keep you in my heart
Even if I am shattered, in part,
I shall remain strong

Awaiting the day when you return
For this time, I did learn
To be patient, for all good things come in time
For now you remain in my love-filled rhyme
Just as I remember you
With that smile, and all the things you do
And hopefully, one day I shall hear you say again,
"I love you too."

One day..
FrostedMustang May 2020
Step into the pools that fill my heart
But do it with trepidation
Because you’ve drowned here before
In the voids left by other men
Brought in by my siren song
But always with a rope to guide them out

Where is your way home, darling
Why do you return to me
With hope in your eyes
And no fear in your heart

I am the monster here
In my own story
Not the damsel in yours
