Immortality Mar 15
Calm night,
serene beauty,
fireflies dance,
the wind caresses the lily.

A ray of moonlight,
kisses a drop of river,
it glows,
summon the fairies.
River water shining under the moonlight....

mare tranquillitatis
sea of tranquility
our place of security, of calm
Blue Moon, Moon River
across the hall
feels 238,900 miles away
Dark lover Feb 21
Let the dark lead.
The dark is the light of the mind.
Take a deep breath and embrace it.
The dark is the light of the mind.
What’s with the incessant cacophony? Commotion? Noise?
Why stimulate oneself with content, clip after clip?
Why play music in silence that needn’t be filled,
speaking when no words need be spoken?
It’s rather silly, isn’t it? It’s not your fault.
Since there’s no need for any of that…
let’s take a moment to pause.
Yes, just like that.
Slow down,
breathe.
Now…
rest.

I thought of the beginning and end of this one evening, seemingly randomly. I typed it out as quickly as I could, realizing the idea I’d gotten was a poem that “quieted down” as it got to the end, both visually, linguistically, and topically, right down to the ellipsis making the penultimate line just a bit wider than the one below.

Ripples spread outward,
Echoing across still water,
Emotions ripple, too.

Streetlights flicker on,
but no one notices the dusk—
is it always this quiet?
Vianne Lior Feb 10
Emotions like the sea,
Ebb and flow, rising, falling,
Within the abyss of my being.
Sometimes calm, sometimes a storm,
Yet always a part of me—
A tempest in the quiet,
In constant, ever-changing motion.

Sunset kisses,
the ocean’s skin.
Orange light cradles,
in the waves' arms.
And the sky’s darkness,
finds a home,
in the ocean's heart.
Wish to see it someday, in reality....

The drive is long,
the wind colder.

Mist hides the stars,
maybe they were never there.

The scent of rain,
softens the world,
our eyes close,
the moment feels,
gold.
I recently went on a small family trip and took the window seat, hehehe… Andddd, I just couldn’t sleep! It was cold, but
the dark sky, the few twinkling stars, the crescent moon, the cold winds, the dancing trees, and just silence…

Goddd, I will never forget it!!

Camus says "there's no sense in living,
And you should keep your eyes wide open"
But I'll devote my life to writing
and people, beautifully broken.
Amen, I guess
