too busy feeling sorry for myself
to listen to them,
my pain hurts others in unforgivable ways,
when can I stop fighting this battle?
coz that's when I can stop fighting them

their trust and love
I don't deserve.
this battle isn't theirs,
its mine

I need to do what's right,
one touch and it's all gone.
then I can stop hiding,
stop fighting
against them.
breathe one last breath
they'll cry for a day,
but realise its all for the best

things will be easier
for them, not just me.
the war I'm fighting- over
I admit defeat

i'm sorry

like sorry can cut it

We met in the most unexpected time with the most unexpected reason
Two unstable soul that are both sailing the sea of sorrow and pain
I saw how you crash along with the waves of uncertainty
And you witnessed how i break down trying my best to stay sane

I love the way you breathe...
Like a fragile glass longing for care
You show me your vulnerability
Your fear of living
And your stupid smile that drives away my sanity

I love the way you breathe...
How you throw your silly jokes that i can't sometimes get
Your incredible way of making me sorry for such a small thing and regret
And the freakin mojos that you use to make my heart melt

I love the way you breathe...
Those falling tears of agony as you clench your aching heart
Bravely thrown heartbreaking words
And your irritating presence is enough for me to realize that you're a breathtaking art

I love the way you breathe...
Every piece of you is astonishingly made
Your soul is drowning me as i tried to untangle each of your secrets
And your illuminating eyes are stealing my innocence

I just can't take it
You're just so amazingly worth it
That despite of being undeniably imperfect
I never get tired of admiring the air you breathe

as i live and breathe
and
as i die and shed:
moult,
transform,
undulate,
flourish.
a line or two
for vitality,
for becoming:
   a lake,
   a chasm,
   a riverbed.
a line or two
for mortality,
for becoming:
   a library,
   a prison,
   a crossing.
bodhisattva,
i drank the sun that morning,
golden brew,
a potion upon
my face.
bathing in warm light
eyes closed,
lungs sky,
my blood is a river,
mountains for bones.
my resonance is vitality.
i am becoming;
through death and life
and
through death
and
through life
i alight.

A black man struggling to breathe,
A Yemeni child searching for a safe place,
A Palestinian man struggling to be free,
An African villager dreaming of clean drinking water!

A lonely man longing for company,
A homeless person dreaming of shelter,
A hungry child craving a home cooked meal,
An orphan yearning for a mother’s touch!

A disabled person dreaming about walking,
An elderly man wishing to visit his loved ones,
A sick patient praying to be free from the pain,
A COVID 19 patient wanting to get off the ventilator!

Sending love and a prayer to those who have such beautiful dreams.

words trapped within thick layers of ice
are embraced by the warmth of spring.
they can finally breathe and be free.
It's been a while. I have a case of writer's block.

I realized too many of us forget to look up.
To look up from our busy lives,
Heartfelt cries,
and see the starry sky.

To look up from our troubles,
Our adventures,
Our times had on this earth,
And see the twinkling lights above.

Do we take them for granted,
These stars?
The ones always there?
Do we forget to realize that we can’t always see them?
So we should drink them in when we can?

Drown in the eternal abyss that is the night sky.
Breathe in deep,
Until we feel like we’re on an oxygen high.

Fill our lungs with fresh air,
Our eyes with the sky,
And get lost in all that God has created.

Watch the stars shimmer and shine.
Watch them glimmer and glow.
Watch closely for the ones that shoot across that starry sight,
Filling our hearts with childlike delight.

Make wishes,
Say prayers.
Give thanks-
That God made possible each clear dark sky and star filled night,
Each starry sight we see.

It’s not enough to love you,
I want to inhale you,
Breathe you,
Feel you between
The chambers of my heart,
Your sweet oxygen
Materializing
Into totalizing
Oblivion,
Mingling
Bodies and blood,
Spirit confounded,
Compounded
Into this unitary union.
Fruition found
My bones, bounded
To this body and earth,
Rhythmically versed,
Your gentle breathing,
Keep him with me
By becoming in tune
With spirit, body,
I swoon.

I beg for the heavens to breathe me back to life;

all the tough walls have been breached
it was inner peace, I am trying to reach
I bled from nowhere, have to learn how to stitch,
my life to a lifeless soul seems to have been switched

heavens did not hear me for days and weeks,
I was left thinking, sometimes bare existence is a misery.
