I walked inside the den
and it was filled with wolves
showing their teeth
with snarls
and growls
so I threw some bones
and they paid it no mind.
They had blood
on their minds

bless my soul
it’s time to go.
My body's shaking,
my bones are breaking.
Something from many, many years ago.

I can still feel your hands reaching back
pulling my ribs apart
a meal
Somewhere from before where you still exist
sliding the meat from the bones
of the women you loath

A monster
gnashing teeth
withered down to dull stones
You have done this many times before

your fingers planted seeds everywhere you touched me
you watered them by whispering into my ears
and flowers sprouted from my spine each time you kissed me

Feeling empty inside
Silent raw hollow cries vibrate
Heavy a weight but wait as a
voice from within sighs
Uprising begins to follow on strong
Bones turn to dust
Metal will rust
What do you hold at the end
of your day
If only a name

Quick hands and light fingers,
trace the dips in my collar bone
and skip stones down my spine.
Touches burned into my skin,
like the scars left on my heart
and on my wrists.
forgive young stupid love

mud
face up on the ground
rain hits my face
i have been here before
lying in the mud
slowly enveloping me
like a hug
or perhaps more like a boa constrictor
my skin pulls upward
towards the stars
towards light
while my bones want nothing more
then to be laid to rest

sticks and stones
can break my bones
words like swords
hurt me the most
but
i like to
pretend they don't

She may have ground my bones to dust
But I took back the dust and built new bones.

Every cell in my body
From the tip of my tongue to my eyelashes to the bones in my hips
Every cell in my body burns when I think of her

I fell for you in the winter
my bones cold
I was decaying with fallen leaves
and I remember the books
How they described this feeling
with countless metaphors
But it’s like reading about gravity
And falling for the first time
With no way to see
What’s going to catch you.
