The Petals that had to grow
through the poverty of life's
                        oncrete hardship.

Never looking below the infertile
words that never gave it the
time to breath. To reach what
was before it, breaking before its hardships.

They thought we were weeds, cracking through
afflictions that never showed our beauty.

Adolescent roots never showing the potential.
But as we grew, we flourished before you.
We showed our worth, blooming before the haters,
shining beneath the blandness of yesterday.

But now where showing colours beneath us dull.
Were unlike the reality that was expected.
Showing that when there is weight upon us we
can still grow and show where more that what was below.

What matters most
not what shows on top.
But what's at the bottom
the underlying intention.

I wonder what's your thought
What do you see at the bottom
at the crack of dawn?

Can I guess you said
it's the blossoming red rose!

springing through the tall trees
the misty drops danced as moisture
blossomed a rhythm with the breeze
surrounded dewed flowers softly swayed
gently overlapping the green grassy hill
moonlight walked across the peaceful air
floating with such an extraordinary thrill
like pearls around the neck of life raindrops fell
and nature's beauty gleamed everywhere

alone,
looking as lovely,
as a blossom
in the midst of Spring.

i see no haste
although
you are not of
an amiable ambience.

your eyes gaze and
speak of a million lies
you've heard
yet withheld.

fastened onto a
seat of comfort;
yet so tense
and susceptible.
Based on Juan Luna's painting of "Parisian Life."

I close my eyes,
And they appear.

Those lonely nights,
My heart was bare.

I feel their patience,
And I long for love.

Those lonely nights,
I wanted him near.
He's a dream.

Love is dangerous
Especially when you’re a flower who’s yet to fully blossom
They come along and pick you
When you haven’t had the chance to grow
Love yourself before you love someone else, then watch yourself grow.

Delicate flowers
blossom in the summer Sun;
A breathtaking sight.

Gotta write about what’s weighing you down
About the things making you frown
Don’t hold it in mama,
You need to let go
Make room for your roots to grow
For your stems to flow
Let your flowers blossom
Pull the weeds and toss em
Bring back that old smile
It’s been a while since I’ve seen you
I know it’s hard mama but bills are due
Wipe the tears
Face your fears
Hold your temper
Remember to pull your strength from last September
The memories make you cry
But let the tears fuel your drive!
So, I’m starting to share my poetry on Instagram..
I know, how lame.. but it’s been kinda sweet

She reminded me of a flower,
Her gentle tone as soothing as wind chimes,
Her silent hidden thoughts makes me wonder,
If her reality was one she had hoped for,
Her smile resembles the colours of the roses,
Colours that leave many to ponder,
At her happiest, she blossoms in a graceful pink,
Her gentleness and warmth glows in bright peach,
She bears no burden for those she cares for,
The strongest trait that makes her so beautiful,
A soothing ember as red as a crimson rose,
One that could keep you staring for hours and hours to go
The longer I see, the more I know,
That deep down inside, the colours are shedding,
A story untold that mires in the hollow,
In time, the colours of the wind shall change,
And she'll bloom once again,
One day in the summer rain.

Dedicated to my special twin.
