Midway upon the journey of life
I found myself riding
zigzag down dark streets,
for there was no straight way
through that teeming urban grid.
Thus I travelled deeper into the night,
while rosary beads swung hypnotic
from the mirror, reflecting the revenant eyes
of one raised by an invisible hand
from salt water rocks where
as a boy, he said, he should have died.
Deftly navigating changing lights
of amber, red, and green,
he humbly inquired after my beliefs
and the state of my soul.
As to this I could not say,
so I drew it out and held it gingerly
by the rough edges, examining
as best I might in that dim backseat
its wrinkles, creases, and scars.
In the reflection he saw all these clearly,
and with gentle resonance spoke
of things impossible to know,
less difficult to believe,
and blessed me so
that on passing out the door
I found my soul again soft and warm.
It was the most profound Uber ride I have ever experienced.

I pin my faith to natural knowledge,
Stumble through the darkness of blind.
I pin my faith to supernatural knowledge,
Stumble through darkness bleeding deeper inside.

Before I merge with the eternal,
Body turns to ashes,
Mind kept recalling past deeds,
Enlighten me, LORD!
Let out reality from me.
I am full of longing.

Protector, controller of all, a fountain of life,
don't waste light,
gather the light.
Let me see that blessed body- Lord of all.

My deeds are known to you,
Before I grow crooked,
Holy Light!  Illuminate the way,
I kneel and pray that again and again.
This poetry comes to mind while reading the first principal of 10 upanishads(Easha-upanishad).

In this poetry, I am praying lord, again and again, show your holy light, show the way that leads to him. I am full of longing, let me see you.
I am not a human being,
I am the deity of profound perceptibility,
touch me with your terrestrial senses and die,
blessed or cursed for eternal life.

(My autobiographical book will be out soon.)

A traffic jam at 2 am?
My work just done, tired I am.
Is misfortune a thing with me?
A fallacy unknown maybe.

Recalled the time iPhone at max,
An accident my old was cracked.
Or day my rags compelled I splurge,
The day some Prada had to surge.

In Dubai, Grab’s copter went down,
With lover, boyfriend’s stuck in town.
Cold ***** camel ride through night,
Paid Bed’uin gold, or wait till light.

My friends all say I’m blessed and rich,
But life with peace I’ll rather switch.
