The most beautiful green
I’ve ever seen
is the one between
the budding of the trees
and their fully formed leaves.

The color of spring.

An onomatopoeia
From another time,
And yet metastasized into this age
Of silent computation—
Faster than thought.
Seamless auditory stimulation
Permeates;
Many cannot go without a soundtrack
In which to willfully drown.

Click...whirrr...
Another ubiquitous day dawns;
The moon falls and the sun rises
And the bright little creature
Emerges from the darkness
To end the oblivion,
To replace,
To put an end to the silent pain.

Nectar of the honey bee, serene
My light wispy treasure in the sky
If all the stars turned to glass and shattered
For just one more moment on your lips
The morning is perfect for the moon

....and you are perfect for me

starting to think this might never work out again

starting to accept it

starting to see differently

starting to smile again

I can’t even begin
to tell you
where I begin
again
Idk I’m just sad a lot **** sorry

~and we shall begin anew~
~bursting forth from the ground like the shoots of a flower~
~waves of pure water crashing onto the sand~
~the soft touch of sunlight kissing your face~
~things~
~must~
~end~
~and we must know that we can be reborn~

Endings
are only
beautiful beginnings.
Starting a new job and moving to the city.

as vibrant flowers press
their beginnings
up
from the frozen ground
below
i untangle
my body
from
your body
i am the primavera diosa
bringer of new life
destroyer
of what existed
between us
expert
at new beginnings

as ice melts
from the blazing sun
above
i let out a sigh
releasing my feelings
for you
and thawing
the earth
around me
i am the warmest
the softest
thing you will ever
get your hands on

I took down my clouds and my stars
Exhausted and frightened of my pain.
As I began to pack my heart away
He took my hand and whispered my name.
He unpacked the box of night and day
Smiled, and wiped my tears away.

And like that,
I learned
to love again.

Isn’t it cool that
the traditional image of a heart
is actually two hearts entwined together.
I do declare,
you are a work of art,
and I’m happy to leave you
with a little part of me.
So many works are based
on pain and anger and disappointment,
but my dearest,
even though it was a kind of good bye,
I hope we can always have
this lovely affection,
for you are still
my favorite girl.
