I wasn't sure what my life was for until you came along and made me understand what it means to live fully and love unconditionally.

To my daughter,
I'll carry you
for as long as my arms could bear the weight of you
and your beauty
and your wonder
and your burdens
and your flaws
and your joys
and your tears

and I will be here
as your mother
and friend
and teacher
and confidante
and your safety
and your home.

I love you. I love you immensely.
I love you with the new life you gave me.

She breathed inside her mother for nine months,
Her weight nowhere near tons.
There were dreams for her waiting to be fulfilled,
Of how she'll laugh and their home would build.
Everyone was waiting to hear her first cry,
To hold those small hands and feet; oh my my!
Her arrival was being anxiously waited for,
But she decided to give a pain that has no cure.
She never got a chance to open her tiny eyes,
To hide things under bedcovers and tell some lies.
She missed on feeling fresh air brushing against her face,
She left this world without any memories and trace.
She had to see and feel the nature's beauty,
Had to be held in mother's love and father's protective custody.
She had lots of love to receive and same to give,
Dead in her mother's womb, the little babygirl never got a chance to live.
In the memory of an angel❤

Sent for our amusement, pleasuring admiration,
our funny bones, and galore (glory)  of creation,
Texas squirrels are nuts, like crazy, chasing each other ,
up trees, across the wide expanse of the backyard,
where’s the Davy Crockett sharpshooters when
you really need them? (1)

now that baby rabbit, fearless or stupid, insists on
running on our deck, looking for applause for his skinny
legs hopping neath the chaise lounges, at any ole time,
guess this ain’t the love poem you were expecting,
then again you’d be wrong again and agin, but the
grandkids going, going, gone and applause muted

anyway, one of these days gonna stop and chat with
these two species, what they’re thinking about, the
human menagerie,  its depleted numbers, wherefore
and why, did the reduction of the human stockyard,
emboldened them to occupy territory they’d otherwise
shy away, hear what they say, gonna make a good poem

p.s. the avians yap and caw 24 hrs a day, presumptuous beasties noisy

Davy Crockett and his Tennessee sharpshooters wouldn't have reached puberty if it were not for squirrel stew. Besides, what do you think they ate on the long trip from Tennessee to the Alamo? Enchiladas? Nope! You guessed it--squirrel stew.”

I see sunshine in your eyes
And moonlight in your smile.
My effervescent star;
My rainbow child.

Eagerly, I await that flutter in your chest
Or your head laid gently to my full breast.
With lullabies and whispers, we'll lay you to bed
And a kiss upon your small, curly head.

For I have sunshine in my eyes
And moonlight in my smile.
With you, come new life;
My darling, rainbow child❤
Just a little something that popped in my head🖤

Who creates us,
is it pure science or something,
that is far more than our reach or minds?
All this curiousity, all these questions,
they fade away, when a parent sees his infant,
taking the first breath, all the emotions are just locked away.
Such a beautiful creature human is,
such a beautiful life he is about to live,
born with no jealously, no pity,
all he has to offer is a beautiful cry,
opening his body for the oxygen of the new world,
the new world that has now become pretty deadly,
but all we can hope is that the boy,
finds his way on the earth,
never envies, zero foes, a happy circle,
is where we all wish he goes.
just a something to think on!

Keep on keeping on  never stop breathin
free   no place to flop
Keep on breathin walk walk step
keep on breathin   don't forget

Feel the heartache  keep on breathin
hurts so much   life caused it
Breathin breathin never stop
your not here if you don't fit

Oh baby  oh oh baby  oh baby

Under water for five days  breathin
a wonder   i'm amazed  just breathin
Oh oh baby breathin still breathin
till the end of days

What’s a life,
If you’re going to throw it away,
With yourself down the bottle.
Is it worth the 9 months,
Just to see,
The baby carried away with cold feet?
Because YOU couldn’t stop drowning your sorrows,
Bottle By Bottle.
Now you may get a living one,
But what is to be of he/she,
Will they not be able to talk,
Or just an addict meant to be.
Now the first sip of alcohol
Will be the last first goodbye,
To the baby you never gave a chance,
To have a normal life.
So will you just put down the bottle,
To save the unborns life?
Or will you drink away your sorrows,
Thinking everything will turn out right?
