Idolizing

The Teacher

they say there is more to learn than not.
that children are the future.
shaping young minds is
most admirable.
working through ways
for a few hours
makes up for lifetimes without.
the gift of knowledge
makes all the difference.

it is not our place to
tell them how to be.
we can only show them

for a young student who worked through his emotional attachment to a "pet bug" during recess time.

Being free from attachment is the ultimate freedom,
Peace of mind is its gift,
Letting go of pre conceived ideas and living life as it is,
Taking one day at a time,
Not judging anyone based on what you already know but taking each as an individual,

Making you think you know when you just think,
Attachment makes you stuck,
Stuck with the wrong person,
Stuck in past ideas,
