Day May 2015
ares,
wake your son.
tell him the battle will go away if he keeps his eyes
open long enough.
tell him that his mind is his greatest
comrade and enemy,
and that he does not need to know
when which is which just yet; but to
trust himself enough to
live with the consequence of either.

ares,
wake your son.
tell him to find his mother within him,
and not look to you and your plights as a
reflection.
he was born from love and war,
love and war,
and more time was spent in the womb of
the prior; that wars have been
waged for the word,
and resolved by the same.

ares,
wake your son.
remind him that, while the
sun does not revolve around him,
it depends on what he determines his
sun to be.
may he have many
and learn to appreciate them equally.
i am too old to keep making stars.
the sky is full.

ares,
wake your son.
press your thumb to his forehead,
wrap your arm around his shoulder,
he needs to know that he is cared for,
though i cannot understand;
who has he met that has told him otherwise?
touch him only if he asks,
but read his eyes- he is asking.

ares,
wake your son.
the son of war has battled.
tear him from the lip of vulcan,
remind him of the mistakes of troy,
teach him what these men did not have
that he does.
if he does not,
remind him that while he is your seed,
he is the nephew of athena.
promise him he can learn-
he can.

ares,
wake your son.
the son of love is loved.
wake him to remind him he is alive-
poseidon likes to play games,
and he seems to have gotten to his mind.
he has not yet drowned,
and he never will.
****** will bring him up with winds,
it is up to him to fall or ride them.

ares,
wake your son.
he has grieved too long
over battles he has not yet fought
and may never have to.

ares,
wake your son.

I want to eat ambrosia
from your fingertips.

I want to lick the wine
from your lips.

I want to **** the nectar
from your veins.

I am the god
Who brings the sun to shine
With my silver bow and lyre
I shoot muse across the sky

I am the ink
That caresses your page
The rhythmic verses
Dancing across life's stage
I can bring you great health
But beware I can bring you the plague

Listen to life's harmony
And poetic flow
Syncing with my muse
I'll give you a show

This is my day but it's time for me to go
I'll shoot to the sky with my trusty bow
Upon you head my symphonies will snow
But I'll be back for sure with muse for tomorrow
For my name is Apollo
A little challenge am doing with some friends :)
Dunno if I should keep the Title just as the name or try and figure something creative out, just can't think of anything at this moment

The sky is dim
Abandoned by Apollo
having yet to be kissed
by Artemis.
A lone girl
stands on a rise
looking to the heavens.
She is searching for meaning
searching for purpose,
feeling lost and empty,
feeling as though the sun
crashed his holy chariot
never to ride or rise again.
Feeling that the moon
has fallen
from her heavenly throne
never to shine again.
The girl, alone on the hill
alone in her heart
feels the darkness
creep into her soul.
Feeling that she too
has been abandoned
by life giving
Apollo.

I hear thunder
No you don't,
The voices in your head
want some more

You're lying!
I am aware of my blunders.
I can hear thunder!
No,  you can't
you're just deaf
and without a plan

You're just inviting trouble
Everyone is trying to hurt me.
My only defence is the thunder
I hear it. I feel it. Zeus loves me.
Mountains tremble in fear.
He is ready with his bolt.
It's a message
you don't see it
yet
but when thunder shakes the ground
you shall hold your breath.
Talk about Hermes, Apollo
and everyone else.
The thunder shall do us no harm.
Olympus was never safe.
Aphrodite knows how to sell her body
There will be war, my friend.
The titans will rise.
Kronos will escape from Tartarus
and attack in stealth.

You dummkopf,
you have no idea what you have been talking
Don't argue over Father of God's bolt!
God of the skies.
Traveling by air? You might die.
Poseidon can make your way back difficult
This behaviour of yours was very typical.
*You ignore your mind when it plays tricks on you
Oh dear, you really are a fool
I have no idea why I wrote this. Greek mythology obsession perhaps
Dummkopf means stupid head in German.

She was born to love the moon while
his songs hailed to the sun.
Twins, twins, twins, twins, the words sound.

Her hair is short and dark when
his is long and light.
She hunts and swears and shouts,
he sings and dances and laughs.
Twins, twins, twins, twins, the words sound.

Frost covers her mouth and
his lips are warmer than the sun.
Her kisses are harsh like winter and his
are soft and sweet like midsummer rain.
Twins, twins, twins, twins, the words sound.
