Amazing how their memory fades.
Leaving victims, in their hands
the bloodied blades.
Amazing how they forget their ills.
In the hands of the dead,
a bottle of pills.
Sitting red faced yet silent at the wake.
Lies a blue faced victim
of the life you did take.

In violence
you used your hands for years.
In desperation
they used their hands one time.

Is this how you imagined
you'd pay for your crime.

Poetry by Kaydee.
Did the perpetrator and the victim switch roles? Probably not. It reads as it reads.

"ADULTS. ARE. IDIOTS!"
Oh, did I strike a nerve?
Well, "sorry!", I guess.
I'll turn around, take a curve.

But wait, did you think
That we would stand by?
Well... You. Are. Wrong.
you aren't always right.

Is this what you think?
That your opinions are true?
Never taking the blame
For all the wrongs that you do.

You think you are everything.
You are mighty, in your eyes
You think you rule the world
And you see us as mice.

But you never take action,
Shunning those who do!
You create all these problems.
And leave us to solve them for you.

You fit us in a box,
And tie us with ropes,
You show us your desired future
And tell us they're our hopes.

Well guess what, adults
We can think too.
And when you see us fly,
You'll know what we can do.

We will all fight together.
And we will see you leave.
Mark my words dear adults,
We're not as simple, as you want us to be.
An important note to take is that "Adults" is only used to address the irresponsible, pride-filled grownups of our generation who are also very close minded. It is absolutely NOT addressing matured people who actually care about others. (Sorry if this poem offended you. But if you're a nice person, this is NOT addressed to you as I mentioned before but I gotta make this clear)

To me football is
twenty-two adults madly running after a ball,
One referee running after them to make sure they do not fight,
And two linesmen who make sure they stay inside the line.
In their haste to put the ball inside the goal post the referee gives them a yellow card for misconduct or a red card  to send him off the field.
To top it all thousands of people pay a fee to come and watch them run crazily after the ball.
The highlight of game is a goal.
Whoever scores is a hero

The bakula and the madhumalti
Sway in the warm wind
Watching children play
In stained shirts
With mud-filled nails
Bare feet and beady drops of laughter
Unmindful of the heat
While a dog playfully rolls over
Trying to hold the sunlight
That falls through the trees
A bird flies low resting on the firangipani
Butterflies dance around the hibiscus
And bees swarm happily
Hedges have blossomed with flowers
Creepers tap against the window pane
To wake the forgotten child in older hearts
And tell them that summer reigns
the children
these mere babes
trust the adults
yet the adults
betray their trust
and do unspeakable things
that repulse decent people
within a society

the children '
aren't safe
the children
aren't secure
in the hands of men and women
who are so
impure

the children
cannot fully blot out
what has been done to them
the sullying of their bodies
and the distressing of their minds
stays over a lifetime

the children
need
the law's protection
from the
predator's
filthy infection

the children
suffering
the horrific assaults
which leave
repugnancy's
marring results

In a nation filled with political miscreants and tyrants,
Led by unworthy leaders,
All moving towards the path of the gutter,
Despite her uncommon number of talented hustlers.

In a world filled with endless opportunities,
Undeniable abilities,
Despite her rich but untapped resources,
Cos our leaders prefer to make it their personal properties.

We've watched long enough from the sideline,
We've suffered enough during our predecessor's timelines,
And endured till now we've all gotten tired and worn out,
That their tongue of deceit even fears to say "Youths, calm down"

Now is our chance,
We can take a stance,
Lead the fight;
And win the match.

We've woken from our slumber,
And discovered that we're not just burghers;
But partakers,
In our political aura.

If not us, who will?
I can't expect you to fight for me,
And you shouldn't expect a savior from him,
We all fight together since it's on you and me.

Cessation: - We all might not see it yet but, we are the change the nation deserves and will get.
We are the best leaders (future)all nations can and will have.
If we don't choose to be positive, how do we wanna cause the nation to improve?
Think wise, be wise.
If we all choose to see the wrongs getting done in governance and not work towards changing it, who will?

We act like adults,
but we are only children
who’re playing dress-up.

Your hot breath on my skin,
Your arm lovingly around my waist,
Long legs wrapped around mine.

Thighs numb, ruby red buttocks and a big cheesy grin adorns your face.

Thoughts of the night reverberating through your mind.

(17) just you and me,
sitting in the middle of the park
laughing, talking;
star gazing

(21) just you and me,
sitting across each other
milkshake in the middle,
its taste is simply amazing

(24) just you and me,
with fancy suits and fancy dresses
me, kneeling down on one knee;
your smile is breathtaking

(26) just you and me,
you walking down the aisle
me waiting for you at the other side;
our love is everlasting

(29) just you and me,
you with your big belly
and me with our daughter;
she was dancing

(57) just you and me,
our son in his house,
our grandchild in your arms;
to you, she is glancing

(80) just me,
you are resting,
i will soon too,
we are advancing
Life moves fast, enjoy it
