Thank you lord for giving me two-hundred-and-fifty loveless nights,
for rerunning dull experiences so I can revisit past delights.

Thank you for isolation, for removing all temptations.
For drawing out this punishment far beyond my expectations.

Reward our solemn and astringent lives by helping - if you please.
As you form galaxies from dust and your moon lifts lazy seas.

If you created life in your universe to give it all some meaning
- then look on us with charity please, we’re in need of love and healing.

There's no appealing the sentence - with our virus destroyer.
There's no appealing the sentence - I checked with our lawyer.
There's no appealing the sentence - to this prison-like experience.

When my alarm goes off it's ground-hog day.
How long can we all go on this way?
I scream into my pillow so to not cause alarm.
This virus lock-down has lost all of its charms.
this lock-down has shot-down so many dreams

We look at the world once, in childhood.
The rest is memory.

There's no line for
implants or alcohol

Autumn leaves fall in time
not just for October

Voices are liminal
neither hide nor hair

*** is a capricious contest
where anyone can be assassin

Limitless horizons abound
where even bottomfeeders
fear to tread

Welcome to phase II
It's only the beginning
(of the end)

Just engulf us and end this misery.

Your betrayal will hurt me till eternity,
Just like it's forever 2020.

Shakespeare said, “make
pieces of the beast and his
confederates”

My parents voted
today - filling out and then
casting their ballots.

It was a pleasing
privilege - even as an
anxious observer.

Their two small darts at
the heart of the snarling beast.
Saints let them strike true.

I saw
a shining Light
Shining out
into all
Perpetual  Darkness
It showed
throughout the darkest
of deep
and into the
deepest of  Sleep
where the prevailence
of Evil
Over-shadowed
every soul with
Heaviness
But at that very instance
of light springing forth
that darkness was
Overthrown
and it ruled no more
New life was substained
and the  Victory
proclaimed
in the name
of the Son of God
✨Jesus Christ
The Lord✨
For no longer are
our lives
Over-shadowed
by the shadow of
Death or by
the enemy's
Shadow
For we were once
a people who dwelled
in a Cold dark
Region
But at the sight
of that
Great Light
was the begining
of a
Brand new
Season
And it's for this reason
we are privileged
of the Lord
for now is our time
to Shine
And we should count it
an honor by the praises
of our duty
to reap so freely
of his
Joy Divine
Oh Yes
we've been ordained
The Children of
the Light
So let us hold up
our Lights
and take our stand
And let us make it
our goal
to call every
lost soul
for truly the
Kingdom
of our coming Lord
is at hand
Don't know what year it was exactly when I wrote this
I just know it had to have been about 10 to 12 or more yrs ago
But after all this time I still have it memorized
So I figured.. now was as good a time as any to post this

A polaroid, in
my drawer, under the junk
- a memory found.

Wow, I miss fun, it's
like there was another life
- a past life shared.

Remember parties?
Sweaty dancing then a plunge
in the cold lake?

I feel like an old
lady reliving childhood
in sterile pics.

Everything I thought
my life would be is gone or
on nebulous hold.

We're learning a dull
brand of patience - strange for
the microwave age.
sterile life is like living in a zoo
