We bomb

hospitals
schools
police stations
sleeping children

and people
who we call
"collateral damage"

while chasing elusive
"high value targets"

while missing stationary
protected non-targets

oil fields
refineries
banks
arms dealers

and others who profit
from the insanity
they fuel
Go Dancing

“I’m doing the funky chicken”
Said a breathless ageing Duck.
The Pig was as white as snow
He was dumbstruck.
Feathers were flying everywhere
As the Duck felt the beat.
The Pig could not move his eyes
From the Duck’s unbelievable feet.
He was staring intently
He was now in a trance
He had not one clue
That the Duck could dance.
The Duck put up his wing
And had said to give him five.
He was well in with the groove
Spinning and now to jive.
But the Pig wasn’t agile enough
His trotters had now forgot.
They’d refused to move
Let alone tackle the fox trot.
But with practice
Maybe then he would improve.
Maybe!
im fine
but sweet as fine wine

as i get older
i become sweeter

i have seen many years
and many tears

i have learn to overcome my fear
even when death is near

so how will you move on when my death is here?

And so he was the beauty and I was the beast
Our love was animalistic
So he caged his feelings
I can't see that he loves me behind his mask
And he's too afraid to remove mine
Nobody wants to touch an ugly thing anyway
Feelings of inadequacy, we all go through it sometimes

You are like the ocean
At times overwhelming
But how I love to breathe in the scent of you
I'm drowning

But your savor is worth no air
You are the only air that I can breathe

So let me.
Don't push me away.

Pull me into the depths of your mind
Pull me down with you into your bed
Let not the sun try and break through your curtains when morning comes
Let me:
Sleep.
Float on your every word.
Be paralyzed by your kisses.

Baby you don't need to be an ocean anymore
Let my body be the ship
Your body, the bottle
Hold me as we float on our love
Let us drift
to shore
together
