winking those hyena eyes

In the rear!
Testing to see if this post gets seen or just disappears into thin air...
So many poems from other writers not showing up on my stream page.

the demons are dead
but their skeletons remain

the zombies are gone
but their skeletons remain

what am i to do
when the bones wont go

knocked me down
i don't want to get up

push me deeper
until i'm part of the earth
Whenever my brother and I as kids wanted a second helping grandmother was there to fill the plate,
And if we were grounded she would sneak food into our room.
If something needed to be repaired by dad mum would tell grandmother,
The job sure got done the same day.
We too used grandmother for things we needed dad to buy for us.
Dad adored his mum,
For him she was his temple,
And grandma only wanted us to be a happy family,
She treated mum as her own daughter.
Grandmother had her gentle ways,
Her beautiful smile and her kind words captured your heart,
You could not deny her anything.

Ayn
No rest for tired eyes.
They quake like a hatching egg,
As they reach their closure.

Through continued exposure,
The light begins to sting;
Needles in my veins,
Making shattered window panes.

Where’d the glass go?
If you’ve read my previous poetry I reference glass as an immaculate barrier. If not, no worries because I explained what was necessary.

I too fly above
the skies, but in a manner
unacceptable.

A midnight doubt translated into a crowd of words.
