It began at sea

this music box

playing your calliope

fingers churning

like a paddlewheel

My love, as you lie on your bed
the first morning rose I'll pick--upon
your gentle hair to deck
ere the day's sunshine is gone
Walking in the morning
In this golden field of trees
Blanket of yellow to brown leaves
Inviting you to lay down in peace
Feel the weather changing
A soft cool breeze is here
See the quiet of the land
Beginning of the new season
Autumn is here.
Beautiful time of the year
Christmas is near.

May you persevere in matters of your heart
Immerse yourself in what you need to feel alive

May you press onwards even when you’d rather sink and

May you grow towards the sky just like the flowers you find that root themselves in the most precarious places but still manage to find the sun

Pristine upturned mouth
charitable sanguineous lips
****** only when they sound as a heart murmur
filtering through dark canticle streams
to the bottom of a kalonoù pond
no more...

Inspired by Fawn's poem "Coastal Refrain," using the word kalonoù:
