The sun was at the perfect angle
a flock of white Florida Ibis
were suddenly transformed
into a luminescent amethyst purple
I stood in awe
what a jeweled sight!
a terrific start to
my morning stroll
I walked down shaded streets
I'd named feng shui way
because of their delightful beauty
A group of trees framed
the China blue sky
and a perfectly formed
pukalani eye peered down at me
One particular house
really captured the
spirit of feng shui
several light and airy gourds
swayed and floated in the soft breeze
the mailbox was surrounded
with mandarin orange marigolds
fuscia colored lantana
and periwinkle
ethereal pink trumpet blossoms
resembling Chinese chime bells
rang silently
and the elegant Oriental
garden gates greeted the
passerby with folded palms
My spirits lifted I finished my walk
with bright smiles, grateful smiles
sailing upward towards the
Star Lord of the solar palace

The sky looks like an
enormous iridescent
blue butterfly
David says he's only seen
these rarified exotic creatures
in South America
Mariposa Azul
Some say they are wish granters
And to gaze upon their
fragile beauty indicates
a change in luck
Heaven's gilded cage flies open
Music of thousands upon thousands
tiny fluttering azure wings
envelopes our little blue globe
most assuredly
Love, Light and Peace is in the forecast

I gathered bilva leaves
in the moonlight
Your crescent moon
illumines the dark mist
and fog
crowning my head with
an otherworldly glow

With every breath I chant
Your eternal name
Holy leaves cascade
over the Shiva lingam
Like incandescent prayers
kneeling at Your feet

O Bholenath!
Golden wedding bells
are ringing in the far heavens
O Divine Lord when will
Kailasa embrace the
pining Earth?

You have taken me
on this journey...

I creep up through
smothering darkness,
mud
million lifetimes ago
edge of an abyss
a tiny glimmer
moon beams
shimmering dew
green breath

This radiant universe
embracing, embracing

...And the Lotus opens
1,000 fold

I clasp your feet
To my lips
red petals soaked
in Bliss
And a chance to
Know
Who I am

Fly fast scriptures of love

This lonely balcony

Vital breath, the song we all share

Red Rivers, streams flowing
through our veins, arteries
originate from Him

Resplendent Sun that dawns
awakens each day
is sent by Him

I press His hand to
my fluttering heart
knowing without Him
it is a hollow, empty shell

Without Him
How can I, or anyone
Be.......?
