Sitting within myself
Belief in my wholeness
Bringing my light
Letting it shine
Most of the time
There’s no way to escape
Uncertainty
Occasionally
But that is not me
I have a powerful destiny
Maybe through this poetry
And maybe after I no longer be
These poems might still speak for me
You buried me
Half the world away
And a lifetime ago

Yet you find me
In your every daydream
In every foreign touch
In every what if...

Almost...
But never quite
How haunting is that?
I thank God for friends like you
Who live their lives in simple truth

They help a friend along the way
And count their blessings everyday

They found love is not in word but deed
And care enough to plant the seeds

That grow into a friendship deep
They live to grow and play to keep.

So don't let the years twist the truth
Just keep on being friends like you.

A poem from the living of my life.

Notes:
In honor of friends through the years who went above and beyond the call of duty.

Immortality
I feel so small,
yet so do the stars,
when seen from afar,
they shine through the scars.

And now I feel better.....
 Feb 7 Solaces
Immortality
Wind kissed souls,
at midnight.

World move below,
from top it glow.

Stars cover the sky,
so high,
the scene made,
my heart so shy.

Rooftop view....

Immortality
Sky so blue,
we walk as one.

Wind so soothing,
our fingers brush.

Eyes so deep,
I couldn't return.
Or maybe,
loved, then lost.
POV- You were unable to look away from her/him.....

I think therefore I’m tired all the time…
In that kiss, all is known,
A universe in love is sown.

I’m all out of color -
the dim light fills my room,
casting shadows of a waning heart
across my cloud gray walls.
I can’t remember what it feels like
to eat from my heart
and drink from my soul -
what it feels like
to hold the weight of the world
in my palms.
My memories are painted
in colors I can’t quite recall,
my words sung in a melody
I can’t quite capture.
What’s left of me lies
inside these four walls,
complacent in my capture.
