Something,
Something I could be,
Something that's only for me.

Something,
Like someone,
To trust,
Who will not be weeping,
when I come home bleeding.  

Something,
To dream of,
To hope.  

Something,
In the distance.
Which way,
I do not know.  

Something,
I know I could be.  

But is this,
“Something,”
Something I want,
Was it my choice,
Or yours.
Did dream of this day,
Or only plan and obey.

Maybe this something I've been chasing, is something just not, for me.
