i awake to
rhythm of your breath
like the ocean ebbing and flowing

i am grateful I can awake to you,
the one I love. the one I promised
among friends and help of Divine assistance
to be faithful and loving as long as I shall live

my soul melts into the ocean
and becomes one.

little moments break
                              into thousand little
                                                          fragments colliding into
                                                                       space and time

i used to think i was spiritual,
                              when in reality i was really
                                                                 chasing oblivion.

oblivion is bottomless and black,
                               but paradoxically it can be solid earth
                                                      in which i rise out of
                                                                  with the help of LIFE
                                                                              and LOVE.

it's a mystery that
             God does not hate me.  
                             everyday, i choose to
                                                  believe in a God that loves
                                                                                            me for
                                                                                                       me.

welcome little one to life
may love blossom in you

that creates and destroys
life and death

I cry out into the Deep,
                                           hoping against hope that someone may hear.
My pain and anguish
                                           crushing my soul into nothing.

I cry out into the Deep,
                                           and Something beyond my understanding reaches out.

                                          It pulls me out of myself from the Nothing into life.

The Deep cries out to me,
so I may return home.

mystery abounds
when I embrace love

the sad little boy lost in himself
who was so afraid to love is now
growing into a man, and soon will
welcome a little boy or girl into the world

I am lost for words for love filling my heart
with gratitude for some power greater than me
that helped me to stay alive when I was doing
everything possible to end my life

If you are where I was,
lost in the darkness of my own mind,
please don't give up hope.
If someone like me can discover love and hope
with each day than you can too.  

Life is a great mystery to be experienced,
so we can share it with others.
