Take a step,
Don’t be afraid to fall.
Go, move forward,
And don’t look back.

No, you did!
Why did you look back?
Is it not that simple?
‘coz we’re back again to square one.

Move a little.
Do not hesitate to walk.
Plunge into things that make you happy.
Jump to your shadow’s reality.

That’s it, but more!
Run and never stop.
Please do not stop and look back.
Forget me—your past—your dreadful past.

Dapat matakot tayo sa batas.
Kung walang pangil ang batas,
Tahasan lang ang paglabag.
Kung mali ang halo ng batas, latak ang batayan.
At kung walang batas,
Tara magkanya-kanya na lang tayo.

Modernong bayani, tayo yan.
Tayo ang aani ng bayang
may punla ng dugong nag-aalab.

Kahit saan, may rebelde't aktibista;
May kamaong lalaban para sa bayan;
may magpapaapi't magagapi;
may kakapit sa patalim
At susulong nang walang pagkukunwari.
Hindi luma ang pagbabago;
Kahit pabagu-bago pa ang tibok ng masang Pilipino.

May bagong balita,
Patay na si Juan Tamad.
Bangon Pilipinas! Bangon na!

In the vastness of Internet
I found myself,

In a small corner where no one thought exists.

It had my heart, my thoughts, my words scribbling on their own.

Sharing, narrating the fears and forgotten roles.

It may be in verse with rhyming and measure,

Or just a hundred word ***** with no pressure.

But whatever it is,
I wouldn't dare to run no more,
For I have found my secret home.
Big thanks hellopoetry!

This lighthearted word that makes you want to look up
to see the allure and intrigue that the sky holds

Every collection of soft, fluffy whiteness opens the door
to another portal for the imagination

They shift expand and disperse like most things in life
with a much faster pace

I watch as they gently meld into one another
Then fade into blue
the grandest magic show I have ever seen

And off on the horizon
this sumptuous mound
seems to grow from the core
of the planet

Reaching higher with more light and luminance than all the rest combined I watch as it coats the sky for as far as the eye can see

Wrapped in the glorious hues of the setting sun
in the midst of heaven
I see you

Being a poet
Changes everything
The way you look and experience
It turns pain into beauty
It breaks down time

It speaks for you when you don't know what to say
It comes at times you can't sit down and write it out
It can keep you awake at night
It may offer you a smile when no one is there to see

Poetry is my outlet
It connects me with others that understand
I have made friends from other lands

When you need someone to talk to
And no one is there
The paper will listen to your pen
And suddenly, you know you aren't that alone again

Poetry has saved me from myself
And it's helped me save others from themselves
It has taught me to take time to really see things
For the truth
To notice the little things that actually matter

Writing poetry is therapy with no judgement
I am writing this to say *thank you

A stolen glance a
Playful wink
Love eternal sworn in ink
Teacher confiscates the letters
Forced to read
Out loud
Beautiful sonnets that would
Make Shakespeare proud

The worst thing about the kiss,
is that I'll never be able to fell it again.
For you it was just a fun night,
but for me it was a perfect night.
Your lips on my lips...
I've been craving for this for so long,
but now I regret it - so much.
It broke me...
