So here we are
emerging—as one, as we do.
For eternity.
Forever.
Nothing can stop us
if we believe—in ourselves,
in our shared humanity.
Put down the weapons.
Step back from the precipice.
You are me—and I am you.
We are One.

Typewriters click and clack,
Like thoughts in conflict–
Undecided actions at war.

Spooling paper around
And around, repeating
The journey to completion.

Inky words wet with residue,
Smudged–impossible now
To comprehend the path.

Liquid correction fluid–
Application and verification,
Can fix any inaccuracy.

Alternative worldview,
Eyes do not ever lie,
This is a digital realm.
Who does what these days, anyway?

Butterfly cocoon made of stone
Time flows impossibly slow
Cracks in the granite implode
Raise the stakes of escape

Straitjacket buckled up tight
Breath becoming sharp
Dread is heavy in the gut
But dreams light as a feather

Expanse awakens within
Oceans of being and doing
Subterranean planetary reptilian
Floating inward on a ship

Flotilla of masks abandoned
Level after level plummets
Deep in the magma where it's hot
Discover Earth's molten truth

Life is older than thought
Cyclical journey neverends

Chrysalis individuals choose to bloom.
Everything is blooming but us

Springtime frost confronts apricot blossom—
Destroyed, damaged, and disappointed—
Leaves the garden to rely on cherry and plum.
Disappointed again this year.

Shrunken
Sentences into digital para

Glance at a screen forever
Stolen
Sightless birds criss-crossing
And swiping food away.
Hands full with
Thoughts
Emptied and tidied ferociously
They
Discovered.
