But I cannot help to wonder is that still the truth that you so speak and swear by?

protection of light,

How it shall save your weakened soul.

The creatures of the night are your friends

god himself to see you again.

I would cross the bridge and take the path
that finally led me to you.

Hopelessly in true love I was with you.

I always thought to myself why the love

I had once given you was never reciprocated,

She was an angel like no other
She did not fear the darkened sins that enveloped thee
Instead she placed her angelic hands upon mine and freed me
Of what has haunted me for what seems an eternity, a true angel's touch.
For I was a different man, a healed one.

Loving you I merely destroyed the being I once recognized.

l let you glare into my soul, my mind

You saw everything as was what it was

yet you stayed, with your angelic smile and told me words I have only

conjured from my imagination.

What a fool I was to let you rip out my heart

with your brown doughed eyes and your deceitful words poisoning my once clear conscience.

Abandoned in the dark, you have killed my spirits for centuries to come.

You expect of me to accept and live in world where you
cease to exist.

I want nothing more than to be spared from this agonizing nightmare I now call my life.

I used to gently whisper I love you to the moon
in hopes it would speak to you as I stared upon it.
I would stare upon the stars and beg to provide its protection to shield you from any harm.
There I asked the darkness to watch over you
In my absence, for it to shadow my presence
In great hopes you sought out a sense of comfort.
My deepest condolences,
I was not there when you weeped my name,
For I stayed in the shadows.

Scared of how the rest of humanity shall perceive you,

The beauty of the princess of light

Blinded me like no other

The darkness is only but a mere whisper in

the corner of my conscience.

Her love consuming my darkened soul

My wish is not to hurt those who have harmed me

But to be relinquished and spared

from the mere agony and pain I once endured,

when I hid myself from a world

I did not wish to be seen by.

A light once glistened in my eyes

but faded rather quickly because of her.

Now the reason of comfort I seek lay within the shadows,

the darkness shall be my home for all eternity.
