As I stand
in the rain,
droplets
of water
play and
roll down
my fingers
and into
the ground,
I feel like
A stray cat,
A runt
Abandoned
By his mother,
Or like a fish
In less water,
I flop on the
Concrete
And catch
My breath
In between
Droplets.

Like flames
From fire

Like leaves
In the wind

Like waves
Of water

Like humans
Over the earth

Each dawn's light, a new day's embrace,
Yet, all seems familiar, the same.
Yet, all has shifted, with subtle grace,
A flick of time, a new world's game.

A year transforms, a life's new refrain,
A translation of all we knew.
But change's embrace, we can't quite explain,
Not until time's tapestry weaves anew.
