sophia
maybe in another universe,
where the sun and moon
would seek comfort
in each other
every once in a while,
there was an us.

in this universe,
i wouldn't have to wish
upon a shooting star
for you to be next to me.

the only galaxies
i would get lost in
were the ones
in your twilight eyes.

we were nothing,
but star-crossed lovers,
patiently floating away
in the endless milky way.
maybe in another universe,
i chose you,
and you chose me, too.

Seema
An indigo child
Thickened hair
A sorceress kind
Beautiful and fair

Natural powers
She carries in her
Sits alone for hours
Looking out afar

Blue crystal eyes
Sheds a little tear
Blows out the lies
That her ears hear

The elements unite
Upon her meditate call
To fight the negatives
That cling the wall

A precious child
Blessed by the nature
Tamed yet wild
Ready for the future...

At dusk I hang up
a worn blue work
shirt that smells
strongly of love
of dirt of the earth
melancholy, sweat
yesterday's brews
the blues, regret
twenty cigarettes
black breath
of the bone moth
old blood, moon dust
spring pollen, summer
grass, Autumnal ****
winter's cold blast
sea salt and pine needles
mountain laurel, desert air
my dog's hair, I swear
I can't bear the thought
of washing or throwing away
all the stains, the growing pains
the laughter, the sorrows
these history lessons I need
to get me through tomorrow.

spare me a share
Of your despair

the waxes and wanes
Of your moans and aspirins

load down to me your Disease
Of past hardship and misuse

the virus and bacteria
Of lonesome hysteria

i will doctor your heart
Of a harsh weather and a loaded cart

till your clouded eyes reflect
Of your classic unyielding effect
by the bedside, wish I could carry on her pains instead of being a useless standby
