Out ripped far long back that Love,
from the blood very of a heart pulsing
with the seed noblest, as ash dispersed
then in a cosmic whole, returns now often
in the very air I breathe, multiplied
at your feet manifold
stronger,gentler yet,
I now accept term-less.
I watched the light of childhood and innocence
Of playgrounds and friends and recess
Fade in his eyes and give way
To the light of experience.

But they never took the time
To see how much that light faded
Because they were each too concerned with
Trying to prove who was the better parent.

His father took him on road trips
To see the trains from TV
And his mother bought him everything
From bats to pads for his knees

But his love of trains dwindled
As he boarded one each week
As the only bridge between
His "family"

At his baseball games,
They sat on opposite ends of the bleachers
While his teammate's and their parents
Whispered behind their hands about
The boy stuck between them.

Their conversations dwindled
Until they consisted of nothing but
I'll pick him up from school at 3
And you better have him home by 9
And whose weekend is it, yours or mine?

He became nothing more than
A piece of clothing to be borrowed weekly
To be stretched and worn, ripped and torn
To be returned in an even worse condition
Than when they received it.

I think we were strangers in a blind white
Losing momentum of a previous life
Speeding the cinema into blurs of light

We were brought together by heartbreak. What did you expect?
The cousin of death is slowing my breath, and has me wondering how much in the tank I have left.  Insatiable emotional depth. Pleasing evenings, some of which I had not slept.  Saw your river, ran to it and leapt.  Stepped along the stony bottom revisiting memories, never forgotten.   Stopped in for a smile but the wood on the bridge was rotten.  Past lifetime I've taken a lot in, but haven't let much out.  The garden that my heart is in is experiencing drought, waiting for a downpour, accompanied by the majesty of a thunderstorm.
And so my soul soaks in the tone of being alone.
Never a dull moment but no hand to hold.
My whole can unfold, unto a page.  It's my key to unlock myself from the cage I felt.  Loosened the belt around my head.  Decompressed the mind many a time, worry free in bed where dread is not an option.  Then the thoughts popped in, Where we were cropped out.  Each of you a beautiful flower bud and I hope to see you sprout, and eventually thrive.  I silenced any negativity, to hear from my inner child that's still alive.  Let go of pride to make amends to the few.  And I wish nothing but love to all my waves have touched, the old and the new.  Now is forever, but at times I have postponed.  Now I find home in where I roam, and loan vibes at no interest.  Hard to see the path solely focused on the finish, but too many instances left the words/actions inconsistent.  Still finding out that i'm so resilient.. I just see an empty pond over yonder, and often ponder on how to fill it.  Thrill through the skill of spontaneity, I must disappear before the lords seek to vanquish me.  Outdoors to explore pastures of grace unseen on this face of the trip, among greenery and sounds astounding.  It always amazes me the situations I am found in.  Now to doze off, for mind and body replenishment.  Power enough within all to create direction to switch the skit.  I just hope we come to fully appreciate the characters that starred in it.
The moonlight dances on your skin
And I melt within
The beauty that radiates
It must be a sin
From the top of your head
To the tips of your toes
This beauty that no one knows.

Laying naked in my bed
There are no words that can be said
To accurately catch your beauty
From the tips of your toes
To the top of your head.

Long flowing hair cascades in waves
Across the pillows, tickling my face
Your porcelain skin glowing with the moon
Your moonlit kissed eyes glowing and seeing right through me
Into the darkest corners of my mind
And loving every corner.

Those perfect pink lips
That so many times have kissed mine
Soft and supple
Leaving me breathless every time
Along with those big brown eyes
That see through me every time.

The landscape of your body
Should be the eighth wonder of the world
For it's fluidity and wonder never cease to amaze
From the gentle ***** of your shoulders
Leading to your delicate but strong arms
To the ***** of your *******
Two hills of decadent perfection
The curve of your back
So soft and so sweet
With the curves of your hips
So tantalizing to me
Leading to your legs
Legs that go on for days
Your legs and your curves...
Enough to drive anyone crazy.

The beauty of your exterior
Seems terribly inferior
When compared to your inner
The beauty of your soul and your mind
So kind and so caring
But, also, just a little bit daring
And the darkest corners of your mind
They're much more beautiful than mine
And how someone like you could love someone like me
Well, it has to be destiny
How else could you explain it
Someone so perfect and beautiful
Loving someone so broken and a little dull
But, such is life
I'm just glad that you're here tonight.
It's fictional!

Anant
I looked to the stars to see what I could find,
and I sighed with exasperation at the wonders in sight.
For lo, behold, there were more than millions,
and poor old me, choosing one just wasn’t an option.

If you gaze at them all at once, you notice there is a sky,
but if you pick solely one, you find yourself willing to fly.
One of these twinkling wonders might be you someday,
for the world knows whom it should repay.

Focus on one tree, you lose sight of the forest.
But look at the forest, you lose sight of your tree.
Find your star, hunt it down, and you just might,
you just might, you just might,
absorb that glittering gold glimmer of light.

Then its all uphill from there,
as you shoot up,
and reach forward
and outward,
and suddenly,
you fall back down.

But this time, you have your star,
so climbing all the way up, it can’t be that far.
After hauling and hiking, you reach the top.
and as you gaze at the bottom, you start to wonder.

Wonder about what? I cannot say.
But you’re at the top, you have to stay.
Since it’s you who made it all the way.
L’appel du vide, you start to sway.

Then it hits you. It hits you hard.
Back you go! as you go down.
Down again, down on your knees!
But as you look in its eyes, your glittery golden glimmer lights it up,
and you can’t help but notice what wasn’t there before.
It cannot be, but surely, it is.
A trace of affection, gone as quickly as it appears.

As you get up, you swear it smiles,
and when it disappears with a gust of wind,
you bet on your life you heard it whisper,
I’ll see you at the top, you’ll get here quicker.

And you scramble up again, surefooted and strong,
as music surrounds you, life’s very own song.
Your ascent slows to a stop, and you look around.
Many are there, whom you never found.

And in the centre, who else could it be?
Your very good friend, whom you mistook for an enemy.
It glides towards you, and you don’t wince,
Because now you know, that which you’ve known long since.
Life pushes you down, not out of hate,
but so you learn, to open up the gate.

Now what did you learn? How can you explain?
What you’ve spent years on, things almost impossible to gain.
But you don’t give away the answer, it’s not yours to impart.
You must help out, pick up all who’ve lost heart.
My first poem. Feedback please?
