I am what I am, all because of God.  I know I would be nothing, if it wasn't for the Lord.
I am what I am, and there is no need to boast.  I have a Spirit with me, called the Holy Ghost.
I am what I am, not because I played a part.  It took the Almighty God, to give me a brand new start.
I am what I am,  it's nothing I have done.  The giver of all life, I believe He's the one.
I am what I am, all because of Christ.  He is constantly with me, morning, noon and night.

What can we do, to make a life of Peace?  What part can we play, to allow the violence to cease?
What can we do, to get the guns off the Streets?  Can we arrange a place, for all of us to meet?
What can we do, to turn this world around?  Who will step up to the plate, to pull all prejudice down?
What can we do, to get rid of drugs?  Instead of bringing it to the light, stop sweeping it under a rug.
What can we do, to stop giving our young people strong drinks?  They really need their brain cells, so they can be able to think.
What can we do, to stop people from getting ****?  This should be first on our list, we should quickly make this a date.

There are so many homeless people, living out on the Streets.  They do not have clean clothes to wear, or decent shoes for their feet.
There are so many homeless people, who have nowhere to go.  They are surrounded by all types of people, they don't even know.
There are so many homeless people, who have to sleep with their children in a car.  Because of the lack of money, they are not allowed to travel far.
There are so many homeless people, to proud to ask for help.  All the things that may be of value, no one knows where they are kept.

I'm not immune to profanity, so will you please Stop!  So much of it is spoken, I am about to drop.
Why do we have English teachers, to teach us how to speak?  For those stuck on using profanity, the English teachers are the ones to seek.
I'm not immune to profanity, in fact it makes me sick.  To hear it constantly spoken, can really give you a fit.
I'm not immune to profanity, can T.V. Producers find familiar clean words?  To continue to hear profanity, are something that shouldn't be heard.
I'm not immune to profanity, and I never will.  People have been known to use them, and they have gotten themselves killed.

The mirror gives me a chance, to see how I look.  It shows me if I'm honest, or a no good crook.
The mirror gives me a chance, to make sure everything is in place.  Because of being born in a particular family, I can check out my race.
The mirror gives me a chance, to improve imperfections  I see.  This will allow me to be comfortable, in just being me.
The mirror gives me a chance, not to observe others around.  It gives me an opportunity to see me, making the decision, to add on, or to take something down.
The mirror gives me a chance, to correct what is not right.  I can only see this, as I turn on the light.

When people  pass by you, tell me what do they see?  Are they seeing someone confident, in all they can be?
When people pass by you, are they suddenly afraid?  Have you made yourself presentable, from your toes up to your head?
When people pass by you, will you give them a smile?  Or, carrying a bad attitude, you choose to make this your style?
When people pass by you, do they think you are ready to fight?  Why do you carry on this image, morning, noon and night?
People are constantly  watching you, what signals are you sending?  You may say I'm sending my best, this is only depending.
