You fell first, I fell harder,
In your arms, I swore forever.
You spoke of love like a promise kept,
I swore I'd stay, no matter what was left.

We whispered dreams in the quiet night,
Held each other in borrowed time.
But I blinked, and the days ran fast,
I never saw that love won’t last.

"Date to marry," you used to say,
I held your words like light in gray.
"I'll never tire," I swore to you,
But now you're gone, and it's still true.

Did I waste the days we had?
Did I lose you to my own hands?
Now you're moving, light and free,
While I’m drowning in memories.

But every night, you're still right here,
A ghost that whispers in my ear.
Not flesh, not bone, but still you stay,
In every dream that won’t decay.

Your laughter lingers in the dark,
Your voice still sparks a dying spark.
I close my eyes, but there you are,
A phantom love, a haunting scar.

You're somewhere new, you're someone’s peace,
And I'm still stuck in what we missed.
You fell first, I fell apart—
And now I'm left with my own heart.

Between jokes, between laughter,
There are words we never said.
Questions we never answered,
Answers we never looked for.

I once thought I was a choice,
I once thought I was a chance.
But now, I see it clearly,
I was just a page in your short story.

Between the promises you made and the words you never said again,
That’s where I stayed, in the space of “maybe” and “what if,”
Between the hope I held on to and the truth that was always there.

I once thought I was part of your plans,
A promise you wanted to keep.
But now, I understand,
I was just the one who added color to a story you wrote.

I came with dreams in my hands,
But I left without a single promise kept.
I was just a page in one chapter,
A story you ended before it could fade away.

I tried to look back at the moments,
Hoping I missed a sign.
Maybe between the laughter and teasing,
I was the only one who fell, while you just watched.

I let myself drown in my own feelings,
Hoping they meant something to you.
But in the end, I learned to accept,
Not all stories have a happy ending.

There’s no more spark in our words,
No more warmth in our eyes.
What I thought was growing
Was just a small flame,
Blown out by the cold wind.

It started with teasing, laughter, and jokes,
Never expecting that the heart would have a place.
In journalism, they met and got to know each other,
A bridge that connected them, without fail.

Sometimes it's chaotic, the heart is confused,
Is it desire or just a simple joke?
Fear arose, wondering what it all meant,
So they decided to speak about what they felt.

"I like you," they said honestly,
The heart exploded, without fear, without hesitation.
It all began with teasing and laughter,
Unexpectedly, the feeling was a deep and sweet secret.

I don't know how or when,
But one day, they gathered the courage and maybe more than just friends,
And there, the heart beat, revealing everything,
Both were surprised, both felt the same.

It’s not yet time, so they wait for the right moment,
And in the end, the heart will meet on the right path.
More than just friends, they realized,
That love will come at the right time, and it’s surely true.
