From Popularity…
              (comes danger)

From popularity comes hazard,
Risk of peril,
Boy or girl at danger’s call.
From anonymity comes shelter:
No one knowing you at all.

Every country loves its tourists -
Bridges, tunnels… easy access;
Weapons, drugs,
Lawbreakers, thugs:
In short, new foes;
New secret foes that no one knows.
From popularity come woes.

Self-imposed expansion low.
Moderation is the answer,
Modesty the balancer
Of friendliness
And isolation.

the dark side of the bright side
Rat
run from the cat
the light the giants
run from anything
not everything
is trying to **** you
but any of it could
there's enough crumbs
on the edges to survive.
I knew it would have been brief,
Simply because the best things are.

    Memories
    are like
     footprints
        in the sand.

         They tell...
          In so many
          fragmented
          tales,
         where you
         came from.

        How far
       you've walked.
       How lightly
       you've trodden.
        And how hard
         you've dug
          your toes
            in deep.

             But...
             Unlike
              footprints,
            memories
           don't get
           washed away
            so easily
             by the tide.

dumbing down is the new smart
if you wanna get ahead best start
too many roses are no longer red
and violets are welts of our cred
but with all things photoshopped
all blemishes are airbrushed and
any rough edges can be cropped
